I will be on the Nieuw Amsterdam following you from May 19-June 2. I’m wondering if the NBA playoff games will be shown on the ship, either in staterooms or bars.  Games are usually on TNT or ESPN. Anything you can find out about watching them on the ship would be appreciated. Go Timberwolves!

Does anyone know what dock in Ibiza Oceania uses? There is a main dock for large to medium ships but there is a second dock on the other side of the port for smaller ships. We are going to rent a car and want to rent near where the ship (Riviera) will dock in late April.

Reposado, what Oceania ship were you just on? We have 3 cabins booked next to each other on Riviera next spring and I assumed we could open the partitions. I had seen photos of the partitions open, so I thought it is allowed.

I am new to Oceania but have been on many Holland America and Princess ships. We have always been able to have our room steward open up the balcony partitions between the cabins of our traveling companions. I assumed we could do that between the three B3 cabins we have booked next to each other on the Riviera next spring. I found one thread in this forum that gave conflicting information. Does anyone who has been on Riviera recently have any information about the current policy? We will be very disappointed if they won’t open them for us. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information about group table reservations. We are all in the B3 category so we will be last to reserve and won’t have anyone on board to provide extra help. Hopefully we will be able to get reservations. We are ok with eating after 7:30pm.

I am new to Oceania. We are a family group of 7 people that will be in 4 verandah cabins (one paying single supplement). How do we make online reservations for the 7 of us (in different cabins with different booking numbers) to be together at one table?

I’m new to Oceania. We are a group of senior citizens traveling with our children who are in their 30s next spring on a Mediterranean cruise on the Riviera. Yes, direct bookers share the same boat. We watched it load and depart. 

I’m just finishing up a b2b on the NAmsterdam. Our all aboard in Whittier was 7:30 for an 8 pm departure. The 26 glacier boat is right next to where the cruise ship docks. Two days before we arrived in Whittier they opened up the 26 glacier excursion to in transit guests, but it is more expensive buying it thru HAL. I don’t think you have anything to worry about getting on the ship in time. 26 glaciers does offer a shorter tour as well. We were going to do that one but it was cancelled for unexpected maintenance.

I asked my physician to give me a prescription for Paxlovid in case I needed to get it filled while on our upcoming cruise. She said they were not allowed to write a prescription unless the patient had tested positive. I wish we could find out if it is carried on the ship.

I know someone asked earlier in the thread, but have you had a chance to see if the club orange dining area has been changed? For example, new chairs? Thanks.

Will someone on board please tell us what was done to the Ruby during the recent October drydock? I know Share was changed to Sabatini’s, but was it remodeled or just a name change? There were rumors that an Alfredos was going to be added. Did that happen? What other work was done? Also, is the suite breakfast now located in Sabatini’s or is it still in the Crown Grill? Thanks in advance for any information.

My TA put the home airport of a traveling companion on my booking instead of mine. I found that out when I tried to use EZair and the wrong airport came up. It was easy for the TA to change my home airport in the booking.

Your booking might have your home airport listed as a New York airport, especially if you use EZair.

We we’re also hoping to switch to the Grand with price protection. Our travel agent said Princess said we have to wait until new cabins were assigned on the Royal. Did you talk to Princess directly or did you go through a travel agent? Any additional information you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks forvthevbed configuation tip. I just didn't know if the sideways or regular orientation have different layouts. I haven't been in either type.

For a solo traveler on the Oosterdam, what is better for an inside category L, the sideways or regular configuration? I know they are small, but i can get a great price for my daughter who might join us on a cruise. We have a balcony cabin.

No Iceburgs, I'm interested in hearing more about why the bird watching tour was disappointing. I have read rave reviews about it from people who were on the smaller boats. What type of boat were you on and what was your experience? Thanks.

Our Norway cruise is in mid-June. We have a car rented in Andalsnes to drive the roads and stops with beautiful scenery. We will pick car up about 10:30 in the morning and return it about 6:15 in the evening. What route and stops do you suggest from Andalsnes? Do we have time to go over to the Gerainger area and back? Any advice and suggestions you have are appreciated.
