Is it true no one talks about footwear,
maybe this is not part of the uniform?
My doubt for evening chic: can the ladies go to the MDR with bare toe sandals? Or the men with their fancy boots?
It doesn’t get much dressier than a nice pair of Western boots.

Take it from an old goose hunter/ice fisherman. Save your money and buy good gloves.

Don't know if this has been posted prior, but there is no such thing as a short sleeved dress shirt after your 10 years old.
I guess no one told that to the manufacturers and retailers. They’re available everywhere!

Currently in Infinity and there is absolutely no dress code enforcement.
I would imagine that telling adults how to dress is not a favored duty assignment.

Yep, you sure do. According to your absurd logic a filthy long sleeved shirt is OK a sharp clean short sleeved shirt is not acceptable. Back to your trike.

I may be a homely old biker but I do like to clean up on occasion. I can read directions though and have never been refused seating due to inappropriate dress. You?

You simply don't get it.

Unfortunately I do.

You’d think they were asking men to sit down so they can pull all your teeth before eating. My G** all they’re asking for is a nice shirt! Doesn’t even have to be clean!

I'm not so sure the OP was upset about the rules, but rather they were being changed mid-cruise.
I don't think there is a Goodwill, or TJ Maxx, or Macy's onboard.
The rules weren’t changed, just clarified. Most would take “a shirt with sleeves” to mean long sleeved. Or simply wear a jacket.

What’s so tough about two simple rules? Lose the stupid cap (your friends all know you’re going bald and no one else cares) and go to the Thrift Store and pay a buck for a long sleeved shirt!

Forgive my ignorance, but I have no idea what Dxx represents.
Neither do I. I apologize for the inadvertent post.

I am still trying to come to terms with gravy made with MILK. 🤢
Real gravy is always made with milk. Preferably whole milk fresh from the cow. That other stuff is just watery flour.

One of my aunts (my family is from southern Missouri) described chicken fried steak as neither chicken nor steak. She said it is shoe leather dipped in flour and fried in lard.
If it’s fried in lard it’s gotta be good!

Many businesses use customer satisfaction surveys for the purpose of evaluating individual employee performance. Unfortunately ratings creep enters into all of these. Where initially any rating above 5 was intended as good and a rating of 8 as outstanding now anything other than a 10 is considered unacceptable. For this reason such surveys have become meaningless.

If they wanted training on dealing with the unruly and uncooperative they should have volunteered at Walmart last Friday!

I for one hope that the crew receives much more extensive training than the passengers!

The video is ridiculous because it's not apparent what points the cruise line wants you to take from watching it. BTW RCL has the identical video but with an RCL ship. It would make more sense if the cruise line would simply state the key points rather than making up the spy scenario. Also, the wash your hands video is presented at a level that is probably appropriate for a 3 or 4 year old.
Just for reference if you have a problem/handicap that makes it difficult to stand during the drill then just simply point this out to one of the drill leaders and they will show you where you can sit during the drill.
Information presented at a 4 y/o level would be too difficult for many today.

E-readers are fine, especially when traveling, but will never replace a real book. Just don’t have the same “magic”!
