I emailed carnival with the same question and here is their response.
Thank you for your email please be advised of the following procedure as it relates to your request.
*
Carnival Cruise Line permits guest who use BIPAP, CPAP, Concentrator, and Nebulizers onboard; guests must bring their own equipment onboard for personal use. Please hand-carry these items and do not place them in your checked luggage.
*
We have a limited supply of extension cords onboard, they are available for medical use only, and on a first come first serve basis. All vessels carry 110V 15 Ft molded connector type extension cords. Please see Guest Services once onboard to obtain an extension cord or if you prefer you may bring your own.
*
Carnival Cruise Line carries distilled water, which is available by contacting Housekeeping once onboard. The cost is approximately $3.00 a gallon. Should you wish to bring your own distilled water with you, it must be hand carried along with your CPAP machine.
*
If traveling by air, please check with the airline directly for their restrictions regarding traveling with medical equipment.
*
We look forward to providing you a FUN and memorable cruise vacation.* See you on board!

Yes you can upgrade by calling carnival... it's in the FAQ page somewhere, but that's how I had to do it after I paid.

This will be my first cruise but I'm planning on wearing my sanuks on when boarding... they're my walking/ whatever shoes. Then need water shoes and dress shoes. Maybe a pair of flip flops too.

Going on the carnival liberty in Feb. DW and LD want to go to the afternoon tea on the sea day. Just wondering if there is a dress code for that. I can't find anything on the carnival website. Thanks.

I would like to piggy back off this and ask if wifi to use the hub app is free or do you have to sign up for a plan

Thanks for all the replies...I'm a first timer and was just trying to get a sense of what to pack as far as every day dinner wear. I'm a jeans and t-shirt type person but I can put on a polo or button down and a pair of slacks if need be. Thanks again.

Am I correct in assuming that you can't wear a t-shirt and jeans to the MDR for dinner on any night?

Does anyone know if there are power outlets by the bed in a balcony room. I have to use a CPAP to sleep and need to know if I should bring an extension cord.
Thanks
