With Select dining you can make reservations online in your Cruise Planner. Look under Sociality restaurants/dining and scroll to the bottom where you should see a place to make reservations for Select Dining. This will shorten your wait to be seated rather than just showing up.
So, I tried doing this yesterday! It let me do it for the four in the OV cabin, but when I tried doing it for the linked reservation (in CC Class) it would come back in bright red lettering saying “changes cannot be made to this reservation”! I probably should’ve called but I got busy and now it’s to late. I guess we’ll just try to show up when the dining room opens 🤷♀️ I liked the idea though! ☺️

Other than on my very first Celebrity cruise we have always had Select. I don’t trust inputting anything in my cruise planner since it entails entering things via Celebrity’s “award-winning” website. I call them directly and request a certain time - for us it is 7 p.m. each night. They have always been able to make these reservations directly and it works. So you might want to try calling - if you are a Captain’s Club member this might be the best number to use.
Thank you for the advice. My husband and I are both elite. I'll look into this!

Thank you fior the advice. I will do that 🙂

Yes Select (anytime) will work. But at peak times you still may have a wait at the door. With children as young as yours, I would say go immediately when it opens, which is likely to be about five-thirty. Then you will get right in and get the kids fed.
Thank you, this sounds like a great idea! Perfect!

We already have anytime dining but we are waitlisted for early dining. So, anytime dining will work? Thanks for the answers!

I am already bummed 😞 I emailed celebrity, as some on these boards said to do, to ask for possibly early dining. We have two small (1 and 4) children on this four day Thanksgiving cruise on the Infinity and I can't imagine them staying up till second dining to eat. Celebrity said they are "oversold" on this cruise. They said to check with the Maitre'd once on board. I know they have the anytime dining but I'm not familiar with it. Will it be difficult to eat around 6:30 if we just show up in the dining room to eat? Thanks in advance for opinions.

Pinchers crab shack is a franchise on the west coast of FL! You can sign up for special offers on their website. Sometimes a free offer for an appetizer...

I was just wondering if there is a "kids station" for kids to watch movies in the evening. I'm thinking of getting a portable dvd player to bring on board. I was also thinking of a couple walkie talkies. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance...

My cruise, Summit from San Juan on 12/21 has the same deal. I've never done a drink package before so very excited. At full price it wasn't worth it for me, but couldn't resist at half off for premium. Now I don't even need to bring wine on board. Woohoo!
I bought the premium package also, but will take the two bottles of wine permitted to have in the stateroom. You have to go to a bar to get a glass of wine. If I'm in my room watching TV before bedtime, I want a glass of wine . 🙂

I received an email offering 50% off (it actually said it was a bogo) the classic or premium package. Says it's a three day sale.

Years ago, our whole family cruised on Navigator of the Seas (when it was new) during Thanksgiving. They did not have anything for a Thanksgiving menu, just a regular menu! There were no Black Friday Sales on Black Friday either. This was a long time ago though. I think it's a great idea!

Will this be offered on most ships? Or just select ships? We’re cruising on a 4 night on infinity. This would seem perfect!

I am wondering if there has been a change in the Daily Elite Cocktail program. Is it now available throughout the ship? Is it in a limited area or time frame? It seems that there have been some changes lately.
Thanks!
We are elite and sailing on a four night on the infinity. Do they have the 5-7 cocktail hours on all the ships? Learning here... 😉

I'm going on the four day sailing of the 123 go promotion in February. Can I contact my TA and ask if celebrity has added OBC to the deal? Or is it only for European sailings? Feeling confused :(
-
Wow, I searched cabin 9175 because that's the cabin we'll be in on our cruise in February. Glad to hear everything was okay with the room :)

Thanks for all the replies in regards to upgrading just myself for the premium drink package. I will be calling the cruise enhancement line for sure! Strange that I was mis-informed from our TA.
I just came back to this page and saw all the replies. I have to keep up better :)

We received the classic beverage package through the 1,2,3 promotion (I think anyway??) but I inquired about upgrading to the premium and my husband stay on the classic because he only drinks beer. I would probably enjoy a martini every day on our four night cruise. Since the agent explained only both of us can upgrade and not just one I was wondering.... would they give me the credit ($8.00?) towards a martini and I just pay the difference or no? If no, I'll just buy my daily martini anyway :)

In the last 11 mos, I've been on DCL, HAL and Uniworld. DCL value is in the service angle and special onboard events and services aimed at kids. Hell to me would be a Disney cruise without kids (which there were several adult couples onboard without kiddos--I don't get it:))
That would be my brother and sister-in-law ;)

I did not go to the concierge lounge on this ship. It wasn't located on the same floor as the suites and just wasn't convenient for anything we needed this sailing. I never visited it, even tho I meant to even if it was for research purposes.
The room menu is enhanced. You will have a suite breakfast menu available in your room, and you will be able to order off of the MDR menu for breakfst and lunch. But only during the hours the MDR is actually opened.
I had 8:30 dinner seating. The MDR was full at that time but I never had a chance to see what the dining room looked like at the early seating.
Hope this helps.
Thank you :) Was helpful....

I wonder if someone would do me a huge favour. My daughter is getting married on the Constellation in February 2014 and the reception/dinner is going to be in the Tuscan Grille (we have bought out the restaurant for the entire evening). Because there is no bar in the Tuscan Grille, we are having to put together a limited drinks menu which will include a red, white and rose wine, prosecco and champagne (as well as cocktails, spirits etc). We need a full list of the wines/champagne available in the Tuscan Grille. If anyone has the chance and would be kind enough, could you please photograph the menu and e-mail it to me after your trip ... gillyelf at gmail.com (gillyelf@gmail.com). Thank you so much.
Wow, congratulations! My husband and I are on then too. That means the first night would probably be our best option to get into the restaurant. We are in the Concierge Class. Would it help to email and see if a first night reservation could be made? :) Have fun !

Really enjoyed the photo's and reviews. I was wondering though. You didn't mention going to the Concierge lounge. Did you check it out? I just booked a cruise at the end of October on the Enchantment in a Grand Suite. I am looking forward to the Concierge lounge :) Also ~ Is the room service menu the same? I believe the guy that made the booking said something about an enhanced room service menu? Or maybe he was talking about appetizers at night in the lounge? My husband enjoys beer and I enjoy wine so I am sure we will visit each evening before dinner! Did you happen to notice if it was crazy busy for the open seating times? I'm opting for a 5:45 dining time however they said I'll have to be waitlisted for that...

My husband I will probably sit but my two daughters already said they think it would be easier with a 1 and 4 year old to hit the buffets or in room dining. ☺️
