Does anyone know how the internet service is on the Star Princess for Hawaii cruise?

We will be going to Hawaii on the Star Princess this Christmas, December 19th - January 3.  .  Does anyone know if there are car rentals near the cruise ports for Nawiliwili Kauai, Lahaina Maui  and Hilo Hawaii.  We will be on Kauai Christmas day so unsure if they will even be open that day and also if they do short term rentals for 6 to 8 hours?  Has anyone rented a car during Christmas time cruise? Also do they pick up at the cruise port?  Thank You

We were on the Caribbean Princess got off 09-28-18 we had the Ocean Medallion throughout the ship. On Embarkation day we were given both the Ocean Medallion, cruise card and a lanyard for both. The ocean medallion worked great.

We just got off Caribbean Princess 09-28-18 an the movies previously listed were playing. We watched 2 movies outside and really enjoyed them, picture and sound were good, it was a nice evening.

The photographs had 3 different packages, $199, $299 and $399 depending on what you want, this would include all pictures, or pictures and slideshow, etc. The video was $699 alone, a bit pricey but the time they spent with you and putting it together was worth it.

We just got off the Caribbean Princess yesterday, and did the wedding renewal. It was very nice I would recommend it, they made it very special. Here is 2 links that reflect a video of the ceremony and the second is a slide show. Both are on you tube under George and Becky Caribbean Princess.

We just got off the Caribbean Princess and had this package, it is well worth the money. We had 66 pictures, from casual to formal to embarkation and ones getting off to go to excursions. We had fun having them taken.

Thanks everyone for the responses, we are really hoping the bed is on the sidewall but if not we can deal with it. The obstructed view does not look that bad and the location sounds good, so it seems like we made a wise decision.

Has anyone stayed in E118 stateroom, it is classified as an obstructed ocean view. Just curious as how obstructed it is and what is the bed configuration, is it in front of the window or on the side of the room? We will be doing a 15 day Hawaiian cruise.

Hi We have signed up to take an Hawaii cruise next year at Christmas, 12-19-19 thru 01-03-20. Noticed that we will be in port Christmas Eve and Day, are there any excursions that you will be able to take, or will everything be closed. Will be on Oahu Christmas Eve and Hilo Christmas Day. We will be on the Regal November 25, 2018, one of the stops will be St Thomas. My sister will be traveling with us who has difficulty walking far distances. Is it far from the ship to where to catch the taxi's? About how far?

Thanks again for the great information. We were planning on getting the regular photo package, so it is a great idea to take advantage of the photos if we do the renewal on formal night.

Thank you for the thread, it was very helpful. The photographer packages are a little pricey, are you allowed to have someone do video or pictures on our equipment? It will be just the two of us, but maybe we can get someone there to take some pictures. We do not need a lot of pictures. By the way your pictures are really terrific. Thanks again for your help.

We will be renewing our wedding vows on the Caribbean Princess. We will be on the 09-18-18 Panama Canal Cruise and have selected the deluxe wedding renewal vows package, it will be our 30th anniversary, it will be just the two of us. Has anyone renewed their vows on the Princess and have any feedback on your experience. Appreciate any information.
