@jpurdy I keep hearing about choppy waters and a lot of sea sickness. Can you give your thoughts on this. I am taking this trip in September and now so afraid of getting sea sick. Too short of a trip to be sick.

You can order any of the burgers listed on the menu and they will come as they are described (including this one I'd guess). I don't think everyone realizes that and the people making the burgers sure don't tell you. They'll just hand you one off the line unless you specify you want a special one (like the chilius maximus, ringer, etc.)
Ah, good to know.

I was just on Conquest and the buckets are now 16oz cans (rather than the aluminum bottles) and are sold as six to a bucket. First bucket was $7 a beer or $42 plus 18% tip and 6% FLA state tax so $52.50
Signed up for cheers on day two so not so bad. Plus we paid next to nothing for the cruise. When things get back to normal my cruising days are over,,,
Wow, wondering if it is worth it to get the cheers package. We will most likely be drinking beer since we don’t really do cocktails. I don’t know we will be drinking $1000 worth of beer in 4 days, with 2 port days. 😩

I was wondering what the options were for a bucket of beer on Carnival Magic.
I can't seem to figure out how to do a search within the carnival forums.
Thank you!

Definitely Pig and Anchor, but the female bartender at the Ocean Plaza bar made a fantastic one as well.

I will check them out both, thanks!

Pig & Anchor has the best I have ever had. They use a vegetable-infused vodka. They are incredible!

Thank you! Will try it there 1st!

Which bar can I get a good Bloody Mary on the Horizon?

How strictly were they enforcing the dress code in MDR? This is a short cruise and we are looking to de-stress. Will my son be turned away for wearing a t-shirt? He is 17, and I am definitely looking to pack light. Will I need to pack extra clothes just to eat in the MDR?
I have seen all types of replies in regards, but want to know about this 4 day cruise in particular.

I have a cheers package and got my son bottomless bubbles. I would like to share my unlimited water with him and maybe get him a milkshake or two ;). They don't mark the cups to now whether or not it was purchased through the cheers package.

Have I ever gotten overcooked meals on Carnival? Sure. that’s why I always order a couple of entrees. I’ve never not found something I liked at dinner.

You can order more than one entree?

Beef Wellington, I can’t remember the other options, but they also have the usual fixed items like grilled chicken, flat iron steak (My personal favorite), and you can also get a few select items from the steakhouse for a $20 fee.
Thank you, I can always have hibachi here, just thought it would be fun.

What was for dinner in MDR on last night, besides the baked Alaska? I had made reservations for Bonsai Teppanyaki
on the last night.
because we are celebrating a birthday. I have seriously considered cancelling since I read somewhere it feels like being in a fishbowl, people walking by are just looking in.

I have a 12pm boarding time, how much earlier should I get there? And how accurate is boarding time?

You don't have a lot of time, but this website may help:

I had forgotten to check trip advisor, thank you so much!

Is there anything in particular you've read about that especially appeals to you? If you tell us what we can advise about time constraints. If Horseshoe Bay is on your must do list...and I think it should be unless you dislike beaches, there isn't a lot to do close by other than other beaches and the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, which isn't too far but still isn't within a safe walk of Horseshoe Bay so a short bus or taxi ride would be required. Other attractions will require more significant travel.
Thank you! I see many options going back and forth, I think we will just enjoy the beach.

Hi, I'm going to Bermuda and do not have any booked excursions. I will be there with my 17 year old son, what is the best way to spend our day. He does not want to do any of the excursions offered, but I would like to make the most of our time on the island. Any suggestions, currently going to Horseshoe Bay, but I know there is so much more we can get done in 7 hours. I have seen a lot of things on here just not sure on distance.

Are there lockers to keep your things while out jet skiing? Do you need water shoes? What should you bring with you?
Did you go jet skiing on your own? Where did you get the jet ski rentals?

I will be in Bermuda in August, are minibuses always available and reliable on Saturday? Do they make the same stops and the public buses or is it a direct ride to Horseshoe bay? How long is the ride?
Does anyone have a picture available of what they look like and where to catch one?
-
Thank you so much! Slow learning, but I LOVE this website.

Hi, I am sure my answer is somewhere. I’m traveling to Bermuda from NY on the Horizon, but just want to hang out on the beach in Bermuda. How do I take public transportation? How much wait time/transit time is realistic? Traveling In August and waited too long to book transportation.

I definitely do not like to have any negative attention sent my way. I don't ever really smell it unless we are in an enclosed area. I am a rule follower just wanted to make sure. I read the smoking policy and all is clear!
