    Hi there Holiday mood.

We normally check-in online with Pullmantur and yes we print our luggage tags on normal A4 paper - the best thing to do is use plenty of sellotape around the ends as well as the top when you put it on your case so that it won't tear when your case gets manhandled!

Don't know about the wifi packs online, we normally get one onboard as I think they give extra discounts sometimes once you've sailed!  Stupid question, but are you using the correct booking reference to get access to the online facilities to the second cruise - it's easy to get them mixed up and I'm sure everything is available for booking by now.  I will check in the morning out of curiosity.

By the way, what's your name and where are you from?

    Cheers

    Ken & Phill

    Thanks so much for reply,

I'm Susan, hubby is Pepe we are living on that fab coast  line Benalmadena Costa,   I'm from Middlesbrough Pepe is from Malaga.      The wifi is offered on the Malaga / Athens   but not  on 2nd part of cruise,  for some reason,

Going to get in touch tomorrow with Pullmantur as paid for excursions in full but on the  e.mail they sent back  it says  Bono for excursions but still  says we still  have to pay on board maybe just wording, will also will check about the wifi as well but if they have offers on board may leave it till then..

Bit scary watching them cruise lines pass at the min,  hope weather does a big turnaround before we leave.

Really looking forward to the cruise,

      Thanks Again

           Susan

As ever it depends on the satellite connection which might be imperfect after Athens!

The wait staff on Horizon are normally great and happy to serve drinks as and when you need them. In the dining room the wine flows quicker than you might want lol.

Hi, its me again, did you do a check in on line when you travelled with Pullmantur before?  It's just that the paper work online gives you a page to download your case tags, the question is is do you use normal A4 paper or should i put a thicker paper in my printer for tags, sounds a stupid question I know, but want to look savvy, as normally do things through an agency but this time we have gone direct with Pullmantur. Also don't seem to offer any WiFi pack on 2nd part of cruise Athens /Dubai on line, sorry for all questions but want to get things right .  Also read to get coloured photo copies of passport, which I have never had to do before, so maybe needed, just to let anyone know. Thanks for reading

  3. We were on the Zenith last April and folks were quite happy with the WiFi speed. Streaming movies, etc. they said that it was much better than the Monarch had been the previous year.

Gin and tonic should be one drink. I don’t think mixers count separately. I had a friend with the premium package get me a Hendricks and Fever Tree tonic just to see what a $12 drink would be like. It was great but not $12 great when I had plenty of other things available to me at no extra cost.

    Thanks so much, can't wait.

  4. We just got back from cruise on the Voyager from Rome to Dubai. It was wonderful! From food, crew, tours, ports, everything was perfect.

Embarkation: Regent picked us up at airport and took us to Westin Excelsion in Rome. A very nice, luxurious hotel centrally located. They drove us next morning to ship. Checking in was quick.

Ship: Everything looked nice and well taken care of. We were lucky to reconnect with Captain Felice Patruno. Last time we saw him was when he left the Mariner in Cape Town. The General Manager was Anatoly Makaev. This was our first time cruising with him. He was very attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. The cruise director was Margaret Lynn whom we enjoy a lot.

Cabin: Our cabin was very well taken care of. Everything worked and was clean and tidy.

Crew: The crew is probably one of the reasons we keep on cruising with Regent. We reconnected with many crew members we have cruised with before. They are like family and is nice to hug and find out what's going on in their lives. Albert, our favorite waiter in CR was there so we dined in his station whenever we dined in CR.

Food: The food was superb in every restaurant. The executive chef was Dino. He's a German chef and was very good. Twice he made my husband's favorite German food as he requested. The pool buffets were very good. Excellent paella! Every meal was very good and we didn't have any complaints.

Ports/Tours: We loved all the ports. We did the overnight tour of Luxor and it was fantastic. Petra took our breath away. Dubai and Abu Dhabi was something to see. All the tour guides were very good. We had a weak one in Salalah but there is not much to see there. Muscat, Oman on the other hand was very nice. We did tour that included lunch at Shangri La resort and the hotel was beautiful. The food was good too. The tour of Dubai included high tea at Burj Al Arab. This is the hotel that looks like a sail. The hotel is beautiful and the room where the tea was served was elegant and impressive. We stayed in Dubai and did the post-cruise tour of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It was wonderful. Again, we had a very good guide.

The cruise was one of our best ones. Frankly, I don't see how some people find fault with Regent. From beginning to end it was perfect. The weather was good and sailing was very smooth.

Entertainment: We only attended the shows with the Regent entertainment group. They were very good and the shows were good. We had an excellent pianist with the 7 Seas Society party.

All in all we had a terrific time. We are now looking forward to our cruise on the Mariner for New Year's Eve.

Hi how was the weather when having days at sea,

Are you allowed on deck on an evening, did hear it was out of bounds when at sea ? Also do you notice or know if thdir their are facilities for people with mobility issues when visiting Petra

    Thank you

  5. My TA was in April and my wardrobe worked out great . It was a little chilly several days so I ended up buying a nylon pull on top for my casual clothes . Lots of women were wearing work out gear ( yoga pants and tops )during the day . Two of my dinner outfits were mix and match wear ever seperates from JJill .They never wrinkled and worked out great . I sent laundry out twice mostly underwear , pajamas , t shirts and shorts and my work out gear . Have a great trip !

    Hi,

We are doing TA in a couple of weeks, Have the option to get Spa pass for full cruise stay online (they said it is cheaper booking it before cruise) Have you any idea how much a Spa pass would cost onboard, did you use this area ?

  6. Embarkation

We drove by car to thepèort of Genova. Getting to the city was easy. To find the rightterminal at the port was not. The signs were not clear and it addedto the confusion that we were to go to a terminal which was quite farfrom our ship. After check-in and security check we were shuttled bybus to the ship. However, after asking several persons and sent indifferent directions, we finally managed to find the right place.

We dropped off our luggage outside and since we had children with us we were directed to the priority line.We arrived shortly after noon and check-in was very fast. There was no line whatsoever! However, after that we needed to wait for more than an hour before finally being allowed to board (among the first ones) around 1.30 p.m. The staff did not know – or at least did not tell – why boarding was so late.

The room where we were waiting was quite spacious and there were plenty of seats and a playground for the kids.
