I miss the ships without the lanai cabins when promenade seating was open to all passengers 

We are planning a 42 day cruise and evaluating medical evacuation and repatriation coverage. Would be grateful for information on the actual costs of evacuation and repatriation from anyone who has actually needed those services so that we can make an informed decision. 

What can you tell me about the Classic Duo on board. Piano and violin or some other combination 

We had an outstanding duo, piano and violin, on the Zaandam for Voyage of the Vikings. They played a very varied program, took requests, played original pieces and Ukrainian music. It was ver well attended 

Fresh Norwegian Salmon on the Voyage of the Vikings. We were happy that it was on the menu twice 

If you google the cons of reverse osmosis water, you will see that it may interfere with mineral absorption. Anyone with osteoporosis should be concerned 

Have the dining room and Pinacle been open for lunch on seas days.

We are thinking of cruising on the Nieuw Statendam and would like to know if there are deck chairs on the Promenade Deck and if so, how many would you guess.  The Promenade De k on HAL has been a favorite place for us on past cruises

We would definitely miss sitting in a lounger on the Promenade Deck. Is there anywhere to sit that is not exposed to the sun.

Hoping that some of you cruisers who have done long cruises would be willing to share the pros and cons. 

We are 4* on HAL and have sailed another 100 days on other lines. Our longest cruise so far has been 36 days and we are fans of transatlantics. 

Currently looking at cruise to South America

How warm was it on your days at sea.  

This will be my first time sailing with a twelve year old child. On previous cruises I needed a photo ID and my cruise card to return to the ship.  My granddaughter does not have a photo ID. What has been the experience of other cruisers and what does Norwegian require. 

Always appreciate the help I get on these boards 

 We get a bottle of sparkling wine in our aqua class cabin. Is there anyway to trade it for a  bottle of red wine

We booked an exceptional deal to begin with, so thought it would be worth it to have Aqua for Blu Restaurant.  Our cost is still less than $100 per person.

We just received word of a successful bid on Aqua Class one week before we leave. 

I will be on the Escape in August with my 12 year old granddaughter.  

I am interested in the opinions of recent cruisers as to which entertainment options they think would be of interest and appropriate for a 12 year old.  This will be her first cruise and though I have cruised previously, my first on Norwegian.

Captain and crew did a great job under difficult circumstances Unfortunately, not everyone pays attention to the announcements

We are traveling aboard the Regal Princess this month and would like to purchase wine to bring on board. Having visited ports in Spain and Italy on previous trips, we were able to purchase some good wines ashore at great prices. We realize that the costs will be higher in the countries we are visiting.Any suggestions (particularly Copenhagen) will be greatly appreciated.

Our habit is to drink a half a bottle of wine at dinner and save the rest for the next night. We have always had TD and our waiter always had our partial bottle of wine on our table when we arrived. This will be our first time with ATD and I am wondering how long it will take for our waiter to find a partial bottle of wine. Would appreciate any suggestions as to how to how to make this go smoothly.

I fill empty hotel shampoo bottles with liquid detergent to use for hand washing. When empty, I throw them away.
