May we ask how much NCL is charging for the Pacific Whale Foundation (PWF) whale watch tour sailing out of Ma'alaea?

We are going next month and it is $160.03 for adults and $98.17 for children (AU). We have ended up hiring a car and will drive ourselves.

How many of you are in the group? We sailed 4 (2 kids) in OS on POA. There are several versions of OS on POA. Some have whirlpool tubs on balcony and 1.5 baths. Ours had bedroom with solid doors to separate from living room which is the bedroom for pax 3-4. So no, no separate room like the 2BR but a very nice room, very large, and extra perks.

There is 4 of us cruising. I did have another look and saw that the OS rooms are very roomy and I can see how it could be deemed an upgrade...My problem is hubby is a chronic snorer and if I don't have a room to lock him away in and the kids in the other....well I may end up throwing hubby overboard ;p Thanks for pointing out the extra perks of the OS, it makes sense why I was offered that as an upgrade now.

I have always sailed with Princess Cruises and never had the option to upgrade. I received an email from NCL to upgrade for our Hawaii cruise. From what I see it would not be an upgrade in my case as we have a 2 bedroom family suite with a large balcony and I am being offered owner suites or penthouses with no secondary sleeping area. I wonder if it's like plane upgrades, where you ring up to upgrade to business class and the price they offer is ridiculous yet a few days prior to flying they send you an offer and half the original quote.
