I was down in Abu Dhabi recently to see friends on a stopover and used Le Royal Meridien, Sh. Khalifa St. - it is quite close to the port and to the main road that leads out of the city to the airport. It has recently been completely renovated, rates are reasonable, the rooms are very comfortable and have spacious bathrooms. It is also close to shops and the Corniche so there are places to go out for a walk too...

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good centrally located hotel for a day room in Abu Dhabi. Coming off the Constellation and our flight is not until 2am the following morning.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. We would just prefer not to be dragging our luggage around as we enjoy our last day.
