  1. We will be going to Jamaica and Grand Cayman and not looking to spend a lot of money on overrated excursions. Looking for good resorts to spend the day at and maybe do some snorkeling or kayaking. Any advice?

  2. There is a great place to check out deck plans and it is cruise deck plans dot com (no spaces). When you get on the 'public' site, click on CCL, then choose the ship. At the top bar on the page is a button labeled 'click and drag'....click on that and all the decks will show side by side. You can actually "click and drag" one deck over another (keep the mouse button depressed and the deck you dragged will be 'see through') to see exactly what is above and below the cabin. Just be sure to line up the decks by aligning the stairs/elevators on top of each other to be able to be accurate. Hope this helps you!

    Thanks!!

  3. I assumed everyone would know that 8399 would be on the 8th deck. And know where it’s located, especially if they had stayed in it before. Lol. Thanks for your input! I just wanted to check because I just had a bad experience with my last cabin being very noisy at night.

  4. So, this being our first cruise on CCL vs our regular RCI, another question with regards to FTTF.

As I understand it one of the big things with FTTF is your stateroom is ready as soon as you board, and you get priority boarding.

We are in a suite, so we will get priority boarding as I understand it, but no other FTTF privileges like having our stateroom ready early?

So, on RCI, until such time that all the staterooms are ready, they keep the doors closed and locked so passengers can't even get into the stateroom corridors.

I'm assuming since FTTF passengers will be able to access their staterooms immediately upon boarding, and many will be boarding at the same time as us...that the stateroom corridors are not closed off like RCI does?

I wondered the same thing bc every Carnival cruise we’ve been on they had the entire corridor blocked off. So wondering how we will be able to go ahead and access room??

  5. We have booked a deluxe suite and also purchased faster to the the fun. I was under the impression that with both of those we would be able to check in and board when we wanted but then I had to set a check in time so now I’m confused. Can someone give me some details on how the boarding will be with FTTF and with priority from the suite? Thanks.
