TA onboard credit is refundable
It depends. The OBC that I get from my TA is a combination of refundable and non refundable.

I got the email too, but the timing doesn’t work for me. Trust that someone will post about it here though.

the steam room and showers are one of Azamara's little secrets, and the fewer who know about them, the better.
Now the secret is out! 😅

but when the 2026 itineraries were launched we decided to move the booking to Quest’s 22 night Antarctica cruise.
That looks like a great cruise!

No they should be. We’ve got tests with us and I’m going to do one on DH tonight
Good luck and I hope it is negative!

I don’t usually need a lot of hand holding for planning cruises, BUT I would need some help planning for such an extensive cruise as a world cruise and I admit the last thing I would probably think of is how many blank pages are in my passport book!
Me too!

Have you not received the email?
Which one?

They’ve been teasing new ports on social media. That’s probably all it is.

Would not be happy with that, been on full ships many times and always enjoyed our breakfast in Discoveries, seems like another step in the wrong direction.
It could also be a staffing issue?

Thanks for the replies. I am happy to say I have booked the B2B on Onward for this September. However my TA was told that the generous OBC ($650 - for 4 day cruise and $800 for 7 day) has to be used separately. I have only one booking number.
Whilst it is lovely to have so much OBC the prices of the shore excursions are huge - so it will disappear quickly. We chose the itinerary because it included many of our favourite ports. We have been to all of them several times and are quite used to getting on a bus or ferry independently. It's difficult to justify the prices when we know using public transport the cost would be just a few euros. However we determined to spend it all. I just hope the onboard shop has improved.
We have never been on Onward but have enjoyed all the other ships several times.
I am very surprised to hear that your OBC won’t roll over. I have a B2B this fall on Quest with one booking number and it was made very clear that all of the (considerable) OBC would roll over. I would have them check again.

Enjoyed “Field Day Maple Syrup” with our fresh cooked waffles in Windows every morning!
I wonder what THAT is! Never seen the real stuff onboard, except in the tiny containers for room service

Concerning the eclipse, the mayor of the somewhat nearby city of Niagara Falls, also in the path of totality, has declared a state of emergency for Monday in anticipation of hordes of visitors. Not everyone is happy about that and a concerned group has filed a lawsuit to rescind the order. The owners of tourist shops will be looking for a bonanza. I will be looking for a comfortable chair in front of the TV,
We will be watching from our backyard! No state of emergency here, but the city is closing most of the major streets for most of the day, so good luck getting in or out!

You are having a remarkable several months. A cruise to the Antarctic (thanks for the updates) and now in direct line for a rare celestial event.Unfortunately the biggest negative at this time surely is the rather poor harvest of a product I know is important to you in the spring. Don’t know what it’s like in Vermont, but Québec’s maple syrup strategic reserve is virtually depleted and there was poor production here in Southern Ontario.
I am making no direct connections to your cruise, but hope you stay home next year to improve production of this essential product. Otherwise, hopes that real maple syrup be provided on Azamara may founder as prices escalate. 😢
I haven’t heard the final stats for this year’s maple harvest, but last year’s was down from the year before. We will continue to bring our own when we sail 😊

I forget which website I saw this on yesterday [OK – old age jokes may be inserted here, and are deserved!] but I definitely saw clear wording that reserved the right to reprice/cancel bookings based on erroneous pricing.
Yes, but EIGHT months later??

I live in Burlington, Vermont, which is in the path of the total solar eclipse on April 8. Our state of around 600,000 people is expecting to be invaded by 100,000-200,000 people over the next few days. 50,000-75,000 are expected to come to my city of 40,000. 😬
Many of them will be trying to travel home immediately following the event. Should be interesting!
