  1. We are a bit confused about how the luggage works during the land portion. Is there a restriction on the luggage size? What about the "backpack/hand carry" luggage for throughout the day? The listed dimensions for that seem extremely small; how strict are they? Or does it just need to be something that can fit under your seat? Thanks in advance.

  2. Is YTD in the upper or lower Horizons restaurant? Or both?

Also, does YTD attract more people than the fixed time dining options?

    Thanks.

The entire dining room is YTD; you have to check in on deck 5 and get a time and then check in at the dining room either on deck 3 or 4...unless you're platinum or diamond. If you are, you get to check in at the DR itself. Many people were unhappy because they wanted a set time but they were full, so they were assigned YTD; at least that's what I heard. There was plenty of seating in YTD; I can't imagine that people had to wait long, but I did see long lines if I happened to be by the check-in place around 5:30.

  3. Lol..when I said the night lights didn't last a month, I meant that we got them in the beginning of November and at the end of November we got something else. Sometimes their gifts last months and other times a few weeks; there's just no figuring it out. Different ships don't even have the same gifts. We had heard on the Vista that they had run out of night lights and someone said that diamond guests were to get one thing and platinum another, but everyone got the same thing.

  4. If you call again you will probably get different info. I cancelled no problem and got my deposit (all I had paid so far) returned without an issue.

Did you book early saver? I tried to cancel but was told that because it was the same itinerary and a sister ship they weren't allowing cancellations. The only reason we were sailing on the Valor was to see some crew people, including a waiter that we were requesting for dinner. We are NOT happy that we have to go on the Liberty, although at least I found out the the CD will be on vacation at that time, thank goodness. He alone was a reason to NOT sail on the Liberty!

  5. Thanks for the info; sounds like what he was hoping for. I like to dress up too as we live in Florida and no one dresses up for anything here. He was just hoping to wear his suit on formal nights and collared shirts and slacks the other nights, so he'll be happy. We wondered about that "no shorts at night" rule, but I figured they wouldn't enforce that. Maybe that works in Europe, but in the Caribbean? I wouldn't think so. Thanks again!
