Hate to be a bother, but I would love a copy too. If we have late dinner, is that likely to interfere with shows, generally? Thanks.

We are a bit confused about how the luggage works during the land portion. Is there a restriction on the luggage size? What about the "backpack/hand carry" luggage for throughout the day? The listed dimensions for that seem extremely small; how strict are they? Or does it just need to be something that can fit under your seat? Thanks in advance.

Is YTD in the upper or lower Horizons restaurant? Or both?
Also, does YTD attract more people than the fixed time dining options?
Thanks.
The entire dining room is YTD; you have to check in on deck 5 and get a time and then check in at the dining room either on deck 3 or 4...unless you're platinum or diamond. If you are, you get to check in at the DR itself. Many people were unhappy because they wanted a set time but they were full, so they were assigned YTD; at least that's what I heard. There was plenty of seating in YTD; I can't imagine that people had to wait long, but I did see long lines if I happened to be by the check-in place around 5:30.

Lol..when I said the night lights didn't last a month, I meant that we got them in the beginning of November and at the end of November we got something else. Sometimes their gifts last months and other times a few weeks; there's just no figuring it out. Different ships don't even have the same gifts. We had heard on the Vista that they had run out of night lights and someone said that diamond guests were to get one thing and platinum another, but everyone got the same thing.

If you call again you will probably get different info. I cancelled no problem and got my deposit (all I had paid so far) returned without an issue.
Did you book early saver? I tried to cancel but was told that because it was the same itinerary and a sister ship they weren't allowing cancellations. The only reason we were sailing on the Valor was to see some crew people, including a waiter that we were requesting for dinner. We are NOT happy that we have to go on the Liberty, although at least I found out the the CD will be on vacation at that time, thank goodness. He alone was a reason to NOT sail on the Liberty!

Our wooden box says "Carnival Vista Inaugural Season." Those night lights didn't even last a month. And somehow we missed the USB charger thing, and we cruise every month!

I was just on the Vista last week..the Horizons was the YTD restaurant.

Well, my PVP said that the Liberty DOES have Playlist shows..two of them, so they must have been added recently. Unfortunately she didn't tell me which ones
-
Wow...was this just recently because I read that the Liberty DOES have the Playlist shows, and I like some better than others.

We were booked on the Valor, but now that the Valor and Liberty are switching places, I am wondering what the production shows are on the Liberty. Can anyone tell me? Thanks in advance.

Their timeline for changing gifts is weird sometimes. We got the visors in October and the light last week. We didn't cruise for 3 weeks and totally missed the charger case. Other times gifts last for months and months.

Thanks for the info; sounds like what he was hoping for. I like to dress up too as we live in Florida and no one dresses up for anything here. He was just hoping to wear his suit on formal nights and collared shirts and slacks the other nights, so he'll be happy. We wondered about that "no shorts at night" rule, but I figured they wouldn't enforce that. Maybe that works in Europe, but in the Caribbean? I wouldn't think so. Thanks again!

We are sailing on the Divina soon, and my husband is wondering about the dress code in the MDR. Are they as strict as it states in their guidelines? That is, do men need to wear a jacket every night or is a collared shirt without a jacket okay?

For the past few months on both Verizon and AARP they have been the gift cards..much easier to use. No more sending in a certificate..just call or e-mail my PVP and give her the gift card numbers. .done!
-
Thanks! Just snagged two $500 ones from AARP. I'm definitely building up my stash. I was just going to get one, but DH said get two, so I did:)

I've bought many of those from another site as a form of "rewards", and they are very easy to use. I've never had one problem with any of those. It is a little aggravating to send them certified mail, but that's really as a precaution in case they get lost. I always have several when I send them in, so it's inexpensive that way. My PVP takes care of them for me.

Mine shows sold out

YES!
I started checking early last evening and checked all throughout the night, and finally they became available!! Persistence pays off!!

Look on the back..type that link in and enter the number..easy

What was the problem with the Journey concert?
-
Yes, it would be nice to get a drink coupon. We've gotten 4 (2 each) of the travel game sets already and with 3 cruises in the next 2 months, I guess we'll be getting several more.
-
Do you have a PVP? He or she should be able to help you out.
-
Wow...that was quick. I'm glad I was able to get some this morning before they were gone. Wish the e-gift cards would come back.

We cruise Carnival quite a lot, so if you want to know something specific I could probably help.
