Does nobody simply call or email Carnival to ask a question like this?
I would rather get the answer directly from Carnival instead of a bunch of anonymous "experts" on discussion board.
If they did you would have no place to hang out

We stayed at the Salles Hotel Ciutat del Prat for one night and would highly recommend it. They have a cruise special they pick you up at airport and will take you to the cruise port the next day for one price currently 150.00 a night. The hotels resteraunt is 5 star and they have a nice rooftop bar. It's located in a residential type area not a tourist area. Plenty of shops around and banks if you want to get your euros at a bank atm.

Since this can be a contentious subject, I'd suggest you read through a recent thread (don't be put off by the title, it mostly has to do with tipping), and then come back and post any specific questions about tipping.

Thank you,
Having not been to Europe before I guess my question was is it customary to tip or not. Since we are taking several excursions I wasn't sure if we should tip the guide or driver, I know we did tip on several Caribbean excursions but I wanted to make sure I didn't offend someone either way. I'm trying to be a good tourist :)
The link you posted had a great idea about asking for their business card so we could leave a review, I like that( I'm bad at remembering names so that tip will help). but as you said it is contentious with some tipping and others not.

I've heard that Europe isn't as tip happy as we are in the states. So my question is, is it appropriate to tip tour guides and if so how much is customary oh heck how about tipping in general in Europe.

wouldn't it be nice if they offered Cheers in increments, say cheers A pkg 5 drinks per day, Cheers B pkg 10 drinks per day and Cheers C pkg 15 per day or maybe one package at 7 or 8 per day and the other at 15.

We are spending the night after debarkation and have a 9:15am flight the next morning so I was wondering how long it takes to get checked in and through security at FCO. Thanks for any info.

Hello all,
My wife and I will be sailing out of Barcelona in August. We have never cruised outside of the US so I was wondering if there are luggage porters at the cruise terminal like there are here in the States.
-
Thank you for the answers it helps.
-
other cruises we've taken have been 4pm departures and boarding starts about noon so with the late departure I wasn't sure it would be a later boarding time.

We are considering a cruise out of Barcelona on the Crown Princess and the departure time is 10pm. What time does Princess start the boarding process? my options on flights have us arriving anywhere from 7:15 am to 1:30 pm and not real enthused about lugging luggage around all day.

My wife and I had cruised on Carnival in '99 and it wasn't until 2016 we were able to go again. We asked if the '99 cruise was on our account and it wasn't and they had no record of it but if I had pictures they could add it, well we didn't have them on us so for our 2017 cruise we found the pictures and the guest services desk sent an e-mail to corperate and checked a week ago and the '99 cruise has been credited to us.

We were on the Pride in Feb 2017 and had French doors however ours didn't open. I did notice though that the catwalk outside some rooms didn't extend to our room so if we had stepped out it was a fall to the deck below.

Looks like a trip to Walmart for longer extention cord and I think I'll just buy water on board instead of packing it in.
Thanks again for all the information

I have heard that a Guys and the Burrito place blue something will be added

excellent!! thank you all for the information.

Thank you it does and maybe I'll call Carnival to to confirm I can or cannot bring distilled water onboard, its not for drinking after all and I'll bring a new unopen gallon.

Hello all,
I use a CPAP machine and we will be sailing on the Victory and was wondering if there was an outlet near the bed or will I need to bring a long extention cord. We were on the Pride last year but I didn't bring my machine. I told my wife I would be more diligent in using it this year. Also I hope Carnival will allow me to bring distilled water for its use.

We had a non suite room in August and I believe Princess started the boarding process around 12:30, maybe 12pm but somewhere in that time frame.
