  1. On other cruise lines for “casual” dining you don’t need to set a time for each day of the week months ahead of your cruise.  Why call it casual dining?  How the heck do you know what you’re doing on the ship each day months ahead?  I wasn’t aware of this “casual” dining requirement so I guess we’ll just see how it goes - it might be the buffet for us

  2. 2 weeks out from our cruise on Ruby Princess. Other cruise lines you can make your dining time on their app day to day - can’t you do that on Princess?  Rep tells me no availability for a private table for 2.  We have to eat at 5 pm with a group!  Is that true?  I didn’t realize I had to make anytime reservations before the ship sailed.  Also, every time I call I get a rep that I have a hard time understanding…

Hi Everyone, I am in a group of three couples going on this cruise. We live in Rochester. The group want to take the train over instead of flying. Any thoughts? Is anyone staying overnight in NYC and if so any recommendations?

We are very excited to see this new ship. I have seen some UTube videos about the boat including the link you posted RoadTraveled with Christine Duffy. I am hoping to see more updated ones once the boat is in use.

Hi - we are three sisters from Rochester also taking this 9/16 cruise.  Debating about driving or taking the train.  I’m definitely interested in finding out about your decision to stay in NJ before the cruise.  How did you find the apartment and how are you getting to the cruise terminal?  Thanks!!!

  4. Booked with Courtney for our 9/8/10 port of call in Jamaica. There were four of us in our party. Met Courtney after getting off of the ship and we were off to Dunn River Falls. Once there we met Carlington who took us down to the falls. My brother and sister-in-law could not climb the falls due to mobility problems (bad knees). The only thing I didn't like was that they had to pay $15 each to go into the area even though they weren't going to climb. Next we went through the rainforest and Fern Gully. Courtney then took us to a Bob Marley restaurant where we had lunch. Had a jerk chicken sandwich which was very good and the guys also had Red Stripe beer which they liked. We paid $25 a piece for the tour. Courtney is very knowledgable and tells you all about Jamaica. Carlington was great also and I really enjoyed his personality. Very nice tour and I would recommend it if you are having a stop in Jamaica. Hope to see you again Courtney & Carlington...Linda & Merritt from New York
