  1. The best thing I have come up with is an accordion file. We bought the check sized one, and I have labeled all the pockets. I keep passports, tickets, hotel information, rental car info, shore excursion info, etc. all in this nice little file.

I also take one of these collapsable hanging cubbies and use it in the closet for extra storage.

I always take extention cords as DH and I both use a CPAP machine for sleeping. We have found that there is rarely an outlet near the bed, so the extension cord is very handy!

Mini tap lights are great...we keep them next to the bed, and they can be picked up and used as a flashlight as well.

  2. We just got back from the April 19-24 sailing Celebrity Century. There were two couples who were traveling together that carried around a pair of blow up dolls; one male, one female. The story they told us was that their friends Allison and Tony had set the whole cruise up, arranged everything and then at the last moment were unable to go. Their friends didn't want them to feel left out, so the dolls went in their stead. These couples dressed the dolls for every event, took them everywhere, and photographed and video taped "Allison & Tony" the entire trip. By the end of the cruise, everyone on board knew Allison and Tony. The crew even involved Tony in the final night's production show!

  3. This is bad because I can't even remember the year or the ship, but once we saw Drew Bledsoe (former QB for NE Patriots) on our cruise. I even stood right behind him as we disembarked a tender! He is quite tall... probably around 6'6".

I have seen Drew on many occations...he is from my town! :D (along with Dan Doornink of Seattle Seahawk fame!)

We have yet to meet or see any celebs on a cruise, but my cousin and her family sailed a few years back with Donny Osmond and family. They said they stayed in their cabin a lot, but he did venture out one day and asked my cousin's group if any of them knew how to whistle with their fingers...my cousin knew how and was immediately invited to his suite to teach one of his boys how to whistle with his fingers:D . She said Donny and his family were exceptionally nice ( I can attest to this myself, as I have met him personally).
