    We got our bid for a Reserve Class Mini Suite from a deluxe balcony.  We're thrilled - 2 sisters and we were hoping for more room.  21-day on Enchanted leaving end of July (I thought the cruise was sold out).  $1000 per person because we REALLY wanted the extra room and we had a great deal on the deluxe balcony so it didn't seem like too much of an increase.

We (my sister and I) just did this cruise from May 16th - 27th with the Copenhagen pre-extension and Iceland post-extension.  IT WAS WONDERFUL!  We enjoyed (almost) every minute.  We stayed in room 8003 and had NO complaints.  We were fortunate enough to have unbelievably beautiful weather.  We did a mixture of included excursions and some optional ones, but all were done through Viking.  

     

    We did not enjoy Manfredi's - everyone (including staff) said "get the steak, get the steak".  We got the steak.  It wasn't cooked right and was just not good.  We also ate at the Restaurant, World Café, Pool Grill, Mamsen's and room service - each of these was exceptional.

     

    Our only real complaint was the flight from Bergen to Reykjavik (only need to worry about that with the post extension).  Viking handled the flight and put us on a Norwegian Air Shuttle - it was horrible.  A very budget airline (we don't do that), very uncomfortable and even the water cost $$$.  Disappointed with that choice by Viking.

    Thank you so much for your response!  My TA has now corrected this issue and all of my transfers are in place.  Wonderful customer service from Viking!

  4. No, I did not use Viking air except for the included air travel from Bergen to Reykjavik (post-extension).  You do not have to for pre and post extensions, BUT airport transfers are included in the extensions (per the website).

I have pre- and post- extensions with included transfers for my upcoming cruise.  According to the cruise documents, all of the transfers are scheduled ( from airport to hotel, hotel to ship, etc).  With two weeks to go, I contacted my TA to find out how do I let Viking know what time my flight is arriving.  The TA then responded that since I did not let Viking know of my air schedule prior to 30-days out I have lost these transfers.  I've poured over all of my documentation and Viking's site and can't find anything that states when I needed to provide this information.   Is this the normal policy?  Has this happened to anyone else?  I'm a little upset.  I try talking to Viking directly, but I'm told I have to go through my TA.
