  1. My last cruise I could not afford a balcony and discovered on each of these ships on the Panorama level are 4 Ocean View cabins that are bigger than balconies, about $400 or more cheaper, look straight out the front of the ship with HUGE windows! I booked it last cruise and just booked it again for October 28th to the Eastern Caribbean and as a single, taxes included it was only a little over $1200! For a couple right now it is only around $1600. I had the best view coming into port and the cabin is bigger than a balcony. The cabin #'s are 10001 thru 10004. There are only 4 on the panorama level, as the rest of the cabins are balconies. I am enclosing pics for you. You can thank me later!

Please ignore the following comment.I can't seem to delete it. The answerto my question is given in your title. So sorry.

Wonderful information, but please give the cruise line and ship.

  2. So many tempting cruises start or end in Southhampton. I live in Paris and would like to book something, but am afraid that getting to the boat is complicated. have not yet found really detailed and practical information on getting to Southhampton, where to stay if I get there early, and things to know about the distance of the cruiseport to public transportation- air, rail ground.

Could some of you seasoned travellers please help me.

I was hoping to find something similar to this handy guide to getting to the main U.S. airports: DIRECTIONS TO THE PIER http://www.paulscruises.com/directions.html

Ft Lauderdale(Port Eveerglades), Galveston, Houston, Miami, New Orleans, New York, Orlando, San Diego, San Juan, Tampa

  3. I have checked online for a better idea of people's appreciation of the product. I observed the same kind of mistakes in English that tipped me off to fraudulent mail with the logo of my bank or credit card company. I also noticed that almost all of the reviews came from within the organization itself, and were positive, of course. I am always learning from Cruise Critic and am most grateful that it exists.

  4. The HAL website says: St. Petersburg, Russia: USA Nationals o

Independent visa required if not participating on a Holland America shore excursion.

I am American, residing in France. I would like to be able to get off the boat in St Petersburg independant, if I wish, of a HAL excursion.

Would someone who has had experience in getting their visa, please share which embassy to approach and how they proceeded.
