We are booked on the Carnival Luminosa for April 1st 2024 a 31 day cruise out of Brisbane, Issues I'm having is booking a flight through Fly2Fun. It doesn't work on their website and I call they tell me the website down or the dateline crossing not setup right in their system which doesn't make sense or try again in 24 to 72 hours. This has been going on for 2 months. Anyone out there with Fly2Fun? We will be coming out of Orlando to Brisbane. We just want the security they offer the Fly2Fun.
I am having this issue for my London to Rome cruise for Aug. 2024. 2 months now also. UGH! Tons of calls and no help.

There were lots of taxis and shuttles waiting. We grabbed a shuttle with another family and were charged $7 a head for the quick airconditioned ride to the beach
Was it easy to get a shuttle back to the port after Doctors Cave Beach? Was the beach crowded?

Is there a reliable site to find out who the comedians are for my cruise next week? Thanks in advance.

I have read conflicting info on this...our first stop is Key West. Are we allowed to bring a 12 pack of Coke cans back on board there? I know you can at embarkation port but wasnt sure if they would be "confiscated" like alcohol.

Wondering if anyone's gotten this error before.... Cruise is 8/18/2024 so within the 321 days. Keeps saying "Guest Name not allowed to book air."
Odd. Have used it before with no issues. I am the one who did the booking and am passenger 1 if that matters.

I have heard both ways on using your milestone OBC in your 25th cruise or it has to be on your 26+ cruise. Hopefully, I am able to use it next July on my 12 night European cruise as that would be my most expensive cruise by far that I have planned.
Same! My 25th is in August on a European cruise too. Hoping it can be used on that one.

Just used ours for an October cruise, as it happens our 25th cruise is the priciest we ever paid so we are both taking the 25%. But it does not need to be taken on the 25th. Our PVP submitted the request for both of us and we each got an email saying that 2-3 days prior to the cruise the $amount will show up.
But it can be used on the actual 25th one?

Hey Louis,
The blue hole Tour last 1hrs approximately and you will need water shoes, swim wear and Towel. Oneil's email address is oneiltours@gmail.com. I know you will have a great experience ask him to take you to Scotches for lunch the jerk chicken there was superb.
You are only there for 1 hour?

Dunns River is basically one big falls you climb up. Blue hole is more of a hike uphill, then work your way down a smaller river playing in the water and jumping into pools as you go. That's a general idea of each, you might want to look for some youtube videos to get a better idea of each. Both are unique and nice in their own way.
is the hike uphill to Blue Hole long?

You will pay a little more, but we always email ahead and have a driver waiting for us. The same driver will pick you up at whatever time you tell him. They are very reputable, and we have used them before and after covid. This is from Montego Bay port. You walk out of the terminal and go left to walk out the gate. Be sure and bring your confirmation with you.
tagjamaica <taxiandguides@gmail.com roughly how much was it per person?

Planning to rent bicycles for a couple hours when there next month. Good/bad experiences with bicycle rental companies? I remember there were quite a few of them close to port.

Native Way Watersports did an amazing job when we went with them last time.
I have emailed them a couple times recently but they dont respond. I have taken their tours 3 or 4 times pre Covid. Did you recently tour with them?

In port from 9-6 what tour companies would you recommend from Montego Bay? Open to anything water related!

You can do it on your own. Take the Blue Route ferry to Hamilton, walk to the bus station and take the #1,3, 10 or 11 bus to the caves. Or take the Orange Route ferry to St. George and then the #1,3, 10 or 11 bus to the caves. If you're on NCL (and looking at your schedule I suspect you're not) you can take the free NCL ferry from Dockyard to St. George and then the bus to the caves.
One word of caution. Since you have a substantial amount of travel to get to the caves and back (I'd allow 90 minutes in each direction) it will eat into your available time at the caves. Just give yourself adequate time, particularly on the return trip. Sometimes bus and ferry runs get cancelled and there can be a substantial wait until the next ferry.
Thank you so much. This looks like a great plan and that we need to get off the ship ASAP! How long did you spend at the caves?

I would suggest going into St. George's or Hamilton. A city tour would be nice.
What are a couple of the highlights of each? Thanks!

Since it is your first time I would suggest a four or five hour taxi tour or minibus tour.
Thank you. Did you book these ahead or find them at the port?

Yes, it's too late in the season for the beach. There's no tram to Horseshoe Bay... you can go by bus, taxi or minibus, but I wouldn't bother in November.
How long will you be in Bermuda? One day.? If so, what hours are you in port? What do you enjoy doing?
Where will you be docked?
If you like history a visit to the National Museum of Bermuda is appropriate. If you're docked at the Royal Naval Dockyard it's located right there. There are also shops and restaurants in the Dockyard.
Other possible places to visit include the Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo, as well as Crystal and Fantasy caves, or the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, but with knowing where you're docked, how long you're in port and your personal tastes it's impossible to make a recommendation.
The Royal Navy Dockyard port. 8:00-5:00. One day, first week of November. Do you need a tour to do the caves or can you take a taxi and do on your own? No desire for a zoo or aquarium. We have great ones at home.

Will be here in early November. 1st time to Bermuda. Besides Horseshoe Bay (I see there is a bus/tram) what else should be do to make the most of our Bermuda day. We are from Florida and I assume it wont really be a beach day all day for us- too cold. What else would you recommend?

Looking online I see negative reviews for a couple companies for rentals and the one we used in the past (pre Covid) doesnt seem to be in business anymore. Going in just over 2 weeks. Any recent experiences good or bad with golf cart rentals? Really enjoyed this in the past and dont want to risk them being sold out. Other ships are in port that day.

I’m not on the Pride until January but here is the current information on cruise directors.
Current CD: Felipe Serrina Do Couto (Until 11/12)
Next CD: Frankie Portera (10/30/22 to 3/12/23)
I saw that too and assumed it may have been wrong to have 2 for 13 or 14 days.

Hello- will be on the Journeys transatlantic cruise at the end of October (this month!) on Pride. Was on twice in the spring. Wondering what the Playlist Productions are presently? Hoping one or more may have changed since March; but I know that may not be likely. Who is the cruise director presently? Any activities they did recently to be sure not to miss or that are different than the norm?
Spain port ideas and recommendations?
in Spain and Portugal Ports
Posted
Hello- this summer we will be doing a cruise from Dover to Rome. It stops in Portugal (which we have spent quite a bit of time in) and Spain. We've planned so much for London and Rome and know Lisbon and Porto really well; but havent done any planning for the 4 Spain ports. Please send any ideas for the ports below. Each has 9 or 10 hours there. Which do we 100% need a tour for (we prefer private/small groups tours vs. ship tours, so please recommend some) and which ports can we take a cab/Uber to do something close to port. Open to doing tours when needed but prefer to explore on our own. Thank you in advance!
