I have always loved the big walk in closet on Princess!!!
We will make this small closet with doors work... But totally and completely unpacking and then repacking, to put all luggage away, is not something that I look forward too!!!
I actually look very much forward to unpacking. It's the repacking that sucks. Even though our 17 night cruise in April is a month and a half away, I already get depressed thinking about the repacking at the end.

I am on the April 17 cruise on the Sun. Today we are 50 days out and dining reservations just became available.

Changing the subject from what a rotten, greedy, horrible company Princess is, I for one am still looking forward to my April cruise on the Sun Princess. I saw this on Facebook today and have not seen any mention on this thread. BritsOnAShip have a web site that details almost every article and social media post, pictures and reels about both the Sun Princess and Star Princess. You might want to check it out at BritsOnAShip.com.

My travel summary for a 17 day b2b (10 and 7) does not show casual dining, ocean now delivery, or free room service. It does show only 2 fitness classes, 2 premium deserts per day, and free medallion shipping.

IMHO if someone can afford a 120 day, round world cruise then perhaps their priorities likely wouldn't be how many casual dining meals they will get.
At least it wouldn't be for me 🙂
I am not planning a 120 day cruise, I was just using that for an extreme example. My wife's limit is probably about 20 days. Now, if I was on that 120 day cruise, and I'm paying $60/day for the plus pkg., don't you think you deserve more casual dining meals than the guy on a 3 day cruise? After paying for that cruise, I don't think I could afford any extra meal costs.
Also some other questions regarding booking b2b cruises separately versus booking them as one longer cruise. Do they send you multiple medallions? Assuming you aren't on either Plus or Premium pkgs do you pay multiple times for the Ocean Now delivery
-
I do think they need to change the details of this policy. How is a voyage defined? My next cruise is a 17 day cruise consisting of 10 day and 7 day cruises b2b but booked as a single cruise. As far as loyalty program it counts 2 cruises. Does this qualify as on or two voyages?
-
Has Princess come to their senses with this yet. According to the plus package you get two free casual dinings
per voyage. So if I book a three night cruise and pay the extra $180 for the Plus pkg I get two free casual dinings. If I book a 120 day world cruise and pay an extra $7200 I also receive 2 free casual dinings. Does this seem right? When are they going to think this through and say maybe we ought to give 2 casual dinners for evey 7 nights of the cruise that are booked with plus package or something similar?
Peoples thoughts on this?

If you buy the internet wifi package, take advantage of the Casual Dining meals, pay your gratuity, Ocean Now delivery and Medallion shipping, you only need to drink 2 drinks a day to break even. A coffee in IC and a couple of sodas would probably do it.
-
My wife always questions going with the Plus package so I put together a spreadsheet showing how many drinks/day is needed to break even. I was surprised with the results.
Assuming you pay your gratuity, get wifi internet, utilize casual dining, Ocean now delivery, and Medallion shipping, you only need to drink less than 3 drinks a day to break even. We typically have a coffee in the IC, a martini before dinner, and beer or wine at dinner. The Plus package is a no brainer for us.

At 1 pm there was an announcement that our staterooms were ready. We went down to our interior cabin on deck 10and met our steward, Bernabe. She is so cheerful! Her smile is infectious and she got us even more excited for the journey ahead.
We just got off the Sky yesterday, 3/11, and we were also on deck 10. Bernabe was our steward and we absolutely loved her. We may have been across the hall from you,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have sent an email to help@cruisecritic.com as well.

Thank you. Discovery Princess is already there and it is newer than these two.

Moderators...Not a biggie but why aren't these two ships included. Even the Discovery Princess is in the list and it is much newer. Please add them to thr dropdown list.

Ok, it appears this is a common problem with a lot of folks. Can anyone here say that they don't have an issue with their middle names. If so, login to Princess site and then look at your profile. Is it correct? Is your middle name shown there?
-
I was booking airlines this morning and had to get this changed. Fortunately I was able to do it over Live Chat that only took a few minutes. I have booked at least four Princess cruises and had to do this every time. They have my middle name stored somewhere as it shows on screen when doing a booking. It even asks you if name matches your travel documents. Then you confirm booking and the middle name no longer shows in your Personal Information for the booking.
Thanks for the confirmation that I'm not the only one.

This is a problem I have been having with booking Princess cruises. Say my full name is "Joe Sixpack Smith". While doing a booking it shows my full name and my wife's full name. However, after completing booking, the Personal information form shows Mr. Joe Smith. If I book airline through Princess it shows Mr. Joe Smith which does not match travel docs. I then have to contact Princess to have my middle name added to my booking before I book airline. If I login and look at my profile it shows Mr. Joe Smith, so I try editing profile but there is no middle name field. So...where does Princess find my middle name during the booking process and why doesn't that middle name carry forward to the actual booking? Is it from my Captain's Circle information? How do I get this fixed so things work in the future? Does anyone else have this issue?
-
I have looked all over the Princess website and cannot find any option to request not to be moved. Is this something only TAs can do?
-
Thanks for all of the replies. I still see Captain's Circle Launch Savings in the list of perks for Gold and above membership. I don't know if I received a discount on my cruise we were on last week. I always make sure I'm logged in before booking and didn't look at the fare while not logged in.

Someone posted on our roll call for the Feb. 28 Enchanted that they were currently on Enchanted with 1950 passengers and that the CD said just a little over 2000 passengers expected for our cruise.

Not if they still try to enforce mask wearing on our Feb. 28 cruise.

Bonaire - the best snorkeling/diving in the Caribbean, IMHO - we booked snorkeling with Woodwind, a 1st class tour company.
I agree on Woodwind. We had a great time with that outfit.

Prior to yesterdays launch, people were seeing the descriptions of the various dining options and the wording that 18% gratuity was added. They would then ask if the food was no longer free on the pool deck and MDR. I chuckled to myself thinking of course it's free, always has been. Then I read that they are charging $5.00 for a cone on the pool deck. Has anyone eaten pizza, burgers, or tacos on the pool deck? Surely they aren't charging there too?
