  1. We booked Queen Anne one on Wednesday. I think a lot of people were inspired to do the same after Monday's eclipse, because prices have gone up considerably since we booked. This will be my third total eclipse and fourth cruise, first time with Cunard.

There are even a few with a 5th berth in a cabin. My wife and I managed to squeeze us and three kids in one room, ha! Haven't found a 5 berth cabin with a balcony though, yet.

Family verandas on Celebrity Solstice class ships can sleep 5.

  3. Yesterday I booked some excursions for our 2022 Alaska cruise and saved over $400. There was nothing on cruise planner indicating that there was a sale. I had to compare prices with the excursion brochure to see the discounts. Discounted excursions had prices ending in .99, and the discounts ranged from 5 to 30 percent. Today prices are back to normal.

  4. Did this last night. Anything cancelled in the cruise planner was refunded to the original form of payment (some to credit cards, some to obc)

Edit to clarify: I cancelled items in cruise planner, I haven't cancelled the cruise yet. So this doesn't really answer your question of what would happen if you cancel the cruise without cancelling in cruise planner first.

  5. Autism on the Seas arranges dress code exemptions for its clients, so this is a request that cruise lines should be familiar with. Contact Celebrity's special needs department. They can answer the question of what is and isn't appropriate, and what allowances can be made.

  6. Thank you Pushka! I did this yesterday, moved from partially obstructed to non obstructed, and saved $239 per stateroom. Both staterooms kept their perks, even though one had 3 and the other 4 (booked under different promotions). I think if you want the latest promotion applied you'd need to call or use the chat function.

  7. This is from the "ourcruisephotos" website (they do the photo packages for Royal). I haven't done this myself but I've read on this forum that others have.

For larger families traveling together across multiple staterooms, we offer a discount on unlimited Digital Photo discs/USBs: Purchase the unlimited package for one stateroom, and the second unlimited disc/USB is 50% off the onboard price.

For pre-cruise purchases on OurCruisePhotos.com, you may purchase the first disc/USB online and additional disc/USBs can be purchased on board for 50% off the onboard price*.

The passenger manifest will be reviewed for all purchases, the Booking ID must match the purchasing cabins

*This offer is only available on ships that offer the unlimited digital photo packages.

  8. I didn't get an answer to my last question, but enough people were skeptical of us getting off the boat in time for the excursion that I decided not to book one and to book a tour directly with the distillery instead (they have one at 11 am). If it wasn't a tender port I would have no qualms booking a third party excursion, but there are just too many unknowns. Especially for my first ever port stop on my first ever cruise! I don't need the stress of worrying about it.

  9. This is for the 6 night western caribbean cruise? I don't think there are any for this exact itinerary/ship combo (we're on it in December), but you can find them for Freedom of the Seas with the same itinerary from last year. I just looked at one of those and another one from Adventure with a different itinerary, and figured we'd wind up with some combination of the two.

  10. Hi, I asked this on the Grand Cayman board but never got an answer, so I'm hoping someone here can help. We will be on the Adventure of the Seas in December, which is scheduled to be in Grand Cayman from 7 am to 3 pm (my first cruise ever). Some members of our group want to tour the rum distillery. They could book a tour directly with the distillery, or sign up for an excursion that includes a distillery tour. There is no excursion from Royal Caribbean that visits it, but I found one from Amvivo that starts at 9 am. Would they be able to make that? A cruise compass from Freedom of the Seas on the same itinerary last year mentions "early bird tenders" from 7:15-8:30am, can we count on being able to take one of those? And does anyone have an opinion on going to the distillery on your own vs. taking an excursion?
