  1. We have booked transfer at Msc throught our travel agent from Malpensa to Genova. We are flying to Malpensa airport at night on 13th of March. We stay at an airport hotel( Roxy hotel at Terminal 2). Next day(14th March) we have the transfer booked from the airport to Genova port (to Belissima). Our travel agent can't tell where the buses departing from. Can someone tell us where we should find the MSC transfer  buses? Are they available from Malpensa Terminal 2?

  2. Thank you for reporting back. Very helpful. I jadn't tjougjt about restricted time of access for the second week. I will have spent earlier time in Guadaloupe and might have planned to return early. I'll keep the 1500 in mind and just disembark for the day later in the morning.

Hope you had a wonderful cruise.

    Thanks, it was great.

I meant the check-in for the newly embarking guests.

It was possible to return to the ship at any time of the day, no restrictions on that.

  3. We just got back from the two-week cruise and the water situation was ridiculus. Each of us took 2 glasses of water to our cabin at every night ( we always asked for a larger glass). The bartenders firstly were very polite, but later they started not preffering what we do, and they looked at us strangely. Afterwards they didn't wanted to give us the large glasses.

Almost at the end of the cruise we spoke to a waiter and turned out that their problem was that the glasses that we took to our cabin never returned to them.

I don't understand that if it is such a problem for them why can't they give bottles. It wouldn't be a big expense for them (even if you take some ashore) but it would be much easier for the crew (less ordering, less washing-up, less gathering glasses) and of course it would be more comfortable for the passengers.

  4. Would you mind posting back your results when you return? I am looking at the itinerary for later in the year. Have a great cruise.

    Thanks

We have just returned from our 2 weeks cruise from Costa Magica. We went to the cruise terminal at 15:30 and it was the fastest embarkation for us ever. No lines at all, everything went very smoothly, we were on the ship in less than 10 minutes. There wasn't many people on the ship yet, most of the people came to the terminal later.

At the end of first week we came back to the ship from shore at Guadeloupe around 13:00 and the check-in desks were closed.

The embarkation probably started at 15:00 because the pictures at photo shop started from this time.

  5. If you are a US citizen and booked in the USA your Costa Card will have "Water USA" stamped on it and will receive water in MDR, could be either, tap water, or mineral water - sometimes the waiters will even leave the bottle on the table.

If you intend to fill up your water bottles in the buffet area from the dispensers, there are signs stating that for hygenic reason, the bottle shold not be used on the dispensers. Take a glass and use that to fill up your bottles.

We are not from the US but we will have Pio Gusto (all inclusive) package, so we won't have problems during meals.

We just like to have water in our cabin at night if we get thirsty

  6. They just serve it by the glass. Last cruise I brought my own water bottle and filled it up with their water by the glass and used that for my room. The room steward provided ice twice a day.

It's pretty weird but we will do the same thing (or maybe we will bring a jug clear.png?emoji-grin-1677).

    Thank you for your answer.

  7. Hello,

We will have Piu Gusto package on our next cruise.

I have read several forums that you can't take bottled mineral water to your room. They just serve it by glass even if your are on all inclusive package and you have to buy water package to have bottled mineral water.

Is it serious or can we have bottles of water from the bars?

  8. We are embarking Costa Magica at Guadeloupe. Our ships departs at 23:00 pm and we got our cruise tickets which say that our embarkation time is 17:00 pm.

Does anyone have experience what is the earliest time to embark this ship? Has anyone sailed from Guadeloupe with this departure time?

Can we get on the ship around 13pm or we have to wait?
