So after I posted this, I was still looking trying to figure something out. I’m thinking the link I clicked on in AARP actually took me to a completely different website. That would explain why my login wouldn’t work and no discount.

Today is the first time I've logged on Rewards for Good in a few months, and boy, what a shock. I read through many of the recent posts on here, just trying to figure out what happened. Anyway, I finally get to the new site, finally find the gift cards. All they had were the ecards, which is fine with me. I put one in my cart and it's full price, $500. I wasn't logged in on the gift card site and my regular AARP login wouldn't work. Yes, I am an AARP member. I created a new account for the gift card site and the cards are still full price. What am I missing?

on my phone, if I scroll all the way to the top of the page, a second search magnifying glass will show up beneath the main one. That’s the one with the drop-down menu.

I got a $500 one a couple of weeks ago. The confirmation email stated that someone would have to sign for it when it was delivered, but that was not the case. They left the package by our door.

Still loving the review! How long was the bus tour? We're thinking about taking it.
-
We use Allianz. It's actually through our travel agent. We've never had to use it, but it has some really good benefits. I guess the short version is, don't get hung up on Carnival's insurance.
I hope your father gets better.

Following along! We're sailing this cruise in January for our anniversary. Fantastic review, so far!

That's some good information. Thanks a lot. We will most likely do something like you're talking about.

We will be visiting Progreso for the first time in January. We are traveling with another couple and I don't think we're going to do an excursion. We were talking about just hanging around and seeing some of the local stuff, maybe a beach massage, that kind of thing. What I was really wondering, does anyone know if there is a place that rents scooters for the day? Is Progreso big enough to even bother with something like that? Thanks in advance!

We're sailing on her in January, the second sailing after she gets out of dry dock. I'm wondering if they might get added during the dry dock. It's only two weeks, and I'm not that familiar with how much time it takes to do something like that. We usually do a review when we get back, so maybe we can answer you then!

Thanks for the great review. WerWe sailing on the Fantasy in January. I do have a question about the room. Did the lamps by the bed have the USB ports in them? The Elation did, and it's had the same upgrades. Thanks in advance!

Like many people have already said, research on CC and TripAdvisor. We booked an independent excursion for much less than Carnival. The tour operator guaranteed us to be back to the ship on time, and would refund our deposit if the ship didn't make port (it was August, hurricane season). We had a great experience with it. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Research on your own. Boards on here are good for first-hand information. Google is your friend. On our last cruise, I booked through a reputable company on Jamaica that guaranteed us back to the ship in time. It was half the cost of the cruise line excursion.

Any other comments? - Panorama deck was a great location. Loved the deck at the front of the ship. This was our first inside cabin. We wanted to try one, just because. We had no issues at all.

I would like to hear more about your experience with your bungalow at Princess Cay. We have one scheduled in 2 weeks while on the Conquest. What was included and what were your pros and cons. Thank you.
We just got off the Conquest yesterday! We loved it! I'm going to write a review soon.

Personally, I like the burritos. They are amazing.

13 days to Conquest!!!!!

We were on the Elation in February (fog delayed cruise). It was amazing!! We had such a great time. We're fairly new to cruising and have only sailed Fantasy class so far. In August, we sail on the Conquest. We can only hope we have as good of a time on a larger ship.

You and Steeragejoe knocked it out of the park. Thank you!Park at the port for good security and convenience. The assist with your luggage by the Porters is very good. (A gratuity is appropriate.) Signage in the port is excellent as is signage along I-95 to get to the Port. SteerageJoe's comment about Conquest docking at Terminal 4 is correct and entering the port from 17th Street is the closest to the Terminal. I have not so, thus, I am not certain if the signage is as good as coming off I-595 into the Port.Sent from my NS-P11A8100 using Forums mobile app

That is some grade A information, right there. Thank you so much.Saturdays can be busy around the Port. Mondays not so much. would watch my phone map for traffic congestion and plan accordingly (pick the least busy entrance into the port)Conquest docks at Terminal 4 meaning you are closer to the Northern end of the Port. Just point your car GPS to Walgreens 1680 SE 17th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
From there you can see the entrance gate and signs for your ship! You can almost walk...
You can park next door (open lot) or in Northport Garage behind the terminal but connected.
Or you can park off-site and take shuttles in.

I've looked that over, but I guess I was hoping for something a little more informative. For information specifically about Port Everglades, check out the cruising section of their website: http://www.porteverglades.net.Sent from my NS-P11A8100 using Forums mobile app

Yes, we have reservations with a group at the Sheraton Four Points, not far from the port.
