As AA members, one of our responsibilities is to "carry the message." It is not NCL's responsibility, and they certainly do not "do" AA meetings.

I had a similar experience. Fill out the form to delete that child's DSC. Then, when you get home, see if they find it. They found the one "we hadn't paid". I had all of the paperwork too.

I remember being taken up to the boarding level on an elevator, and rolled to the area where the ramp to the ship is. I do not remember which group boarded first, but we were among the first to board. Cabins were not ready. We were taken to the buffet and pigged out! The helper took the wheelchair . My wife went to the cabin and got the scooter. Easy peasy.

yes, SC uses a tender that is even with the platform, and those beach wheelchairs are great .
Nassau is one ramp.down/up.to the ship. so.is hc, Barbados, Antigua,.Cartagena and a few others. I think there is a list somewhere out there in cyberland.

I am not sure what you are referring to Maniacal. but being in a wheelchair myself .most tenders have a ramp that the wheelchair can go down,.but to board the tender there is a.steep ladder. you have to get up and go down/up.it by yourself.

no. and if a person is in a wheelchair they must be able to use the steps without assistance.

I strongly suggest that you rent a scooter. These ships are huge! You can arrange for the scooter to be either in the terminal or in your cabin.

I concur with Virginials. It will be chaos, unless two of the 14 can each push a wheelchair behind the NCL attendant. I also don't think that three wheelchairs fit in the elevator that takes you up to the waiting room. Be ready for that. I would set a meeting place on board before you get to the dock so that if there is a mix-up, you all know what to do. The main thing is to stay calm, get on the ship, and have a wonderful time!

I get the "old school" vs "new" school" changes. But, this makes me wonder why vegan options are so few and far between.

I have the same disability. The best decision I ever made was to rent an electric scooter. Care Vacations is one of the companies. They deliver to your cabin or you can arrange to pick it up in the check-in area. $225 or so for the week. There is also a disabilities board.
Good Luck!

A toga! That would work anywhere!

You will either Tender or swim.

Look one page over for the "Not Going Well On The Sun". It tells all about the work at sea.
-
It can't be taken on a plane.

The Platinum Plus lifeboat has two decks and extra large balconies. There is an open bar and amazing snacks. PPLB Cucina is wonderful, and its all you can eat.

What I regret is NCL dropping the Jean Ryan Dance Co. Her productions were Broadway quality. I never tired of her shows even after watching them several times. Letting them go was the start of NCL's downward trend.

I would keep taking photos to prove that it had not stopped.

I assume your starting point is not Spain. Are you staying at a hotel? Why not ship it to the hotel and let them know to hold it for you. Or just buy one there.
-
Why not call ncl reservations and ask?
-
I use a scooter. I know how to run over feet. I do it well. I also know how to bump people who get a step outside the elevator and stop to figure out where to go,
-
I know that it seems a long way off, but have them phone soon to learn what it available. There are not a huge number of these cabins.
-
I hope you are not on a boat. If you are, you got scammed because there would be no restaurants as boats are too small. You will be on a ship and I hope you are in awe!!! Have a wonderful time.

If you are within the weight restrictions, rent a 3 wheel scooter. These models are easy to get into a regular cabin.
Why does NCL do AA meeting at Night?
