We will be in Dubrovnik on our anniversary. The ship doesn't leave port until 8:00 so we thought that we would like to go to a nice restaurant to celebrate.
The only trick is that my wife doesn't eat seafood. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

A very generous offer from the parish to pick you up for mass. We have been lucky twice while on celebrity to have a vacationing priest onboard who said Sunday mass. Kudos to you for making the effort to go to Sunday mass. My wife’s aunt who is a nun says that you can get a “bye” while on vacation although I know that she would never use that bye.

Thanks. Actually I should have researched more before I posted. As I was waiting for a response, our port city Ketchikan has a parish that will meet the ship and shuttle you to Mass and back to the ship.

So $170 plus $65 for wine plus $20% gratuity. That’s over $560 for a couple. It better be one heck of a meal.

I took clubs once on a cruise and stored them in the cabin. What a pain. They take too much room. It wasn’t worth the aggravation to play one round. If there is somewhere else on the ship to store them then maybe but I won’t do it again.

We are on the Zaandam now and had a 1:20 boarding time in Montreal. We showed up shortly after noon and basically walked right on the ship.

Would a Black Russian be covered as one drink?

It was very walkable. I would guess it was around a 10 minute walk at a leisurely pace. It is through a beautiful part of the city, so you may slow up to take some pictures. Or you could pre walk it in the morning to see the sights.Perfect. Thanks. Maybe us two old farts with luggage in tow will walk it if the weather cooperates.
Looking forward to the rest of your review!

Also any questions about any specifics, I will answer as best I can or perhaps someone else that was also on the cruise will have an answer.
We are staying at the Embassy Suites pre cruise In September. Is it walkable to the pier or is a taxi advisable?

We were on the last itinerary before everything closed, the one after Wayntor. I was not impressed at all. Although I never lost my connection it was often times very slow. I only had 250 mins as a platinum perk. Often I would give up as not to use up my precious minutes. The “best wifi at sea” was not very good in my opinion

On Island Princess March 7-17th. Believe me, you will hear from me if there is any kind of outbreak.
We are going on with our lives as normal. Have no control over others, but always take precautions to stay healthy.
We are on the same cruise with you. I got a notice from Princess this morning stating that anyone who has been to mainland China, Hong Kong or Macau in the 14 days prior to boarding will be denied boarding and given a full refund. It looks like they will check your passport to ensure that you have not been to effected areas.

Should I be comfortable booking a flight at 11:10?

Does this increase apply to wine packages as well as drink packages?

We lost a bag when sailing with Norwegian in Hawaii. After an extensive search with no luck we filled out the paperwork and headed to the airport thinking we would never see it again. DW was livid! When we pulled up to the curb at the airport I couldn't believe my eyes! There was our bag was sitting on the sidewalk. I can only assume someone took it thinking it was theirs, discovered the mistake at the airport and just left it sitting on the curb.:eek:

If you didn't like the itinerary why did you book it??

You know, I was seriously considering Koningsdam, but it was soo hard to find information on good or bad cabins. When I asked here, I mostly got...."it's a new ship, etc...."
I ordered brochures and they came without deck plans. I know you can go on line, but I like the hard copies so I can line up stairs and elevators and see what's above and below at a glance. Ended up on Celebrity Reflection (again).
Google cruise ship deck plans and a site by that name will come up. You can move deck plans on top of one another and it shows you exactly what is above and below your preferred cabin. It's a great tool to use in selecting a cabin

Ended up making the connection no problem. Even the luggage made it! It did make for a long day of travel though with no time to stretch and relax a bit between flights

I hear a lot of Alaskans have lectricity too. Alas, a lot of Alaskans have still outhouses...
Sounds the same as Canada!

Yes, this flight was booked by our travel agent. I would never had agreed to it but we are a group of six and I was over ruled. The travel agent will only say that "it's legal". I can tell you that if we miss our connection there will be hell to be paid.

We are flying from Detroit to Seattle and then on to Fairbaks. Our turn around time in Seattle is 37 minutes. Is this able to be done? What are the odds that our luggage will make it?

I have bought Tissot, Tag and Longines on board Princess. The price was always comparable to what you can get on land and service was top notch as well.

Is Stella still available on tap by the pools?
Chances of making a 10:00 AM Flight from FLL?
