So Far the Carnival Miracle is my Favorite ship. I have had my best cruises on that ship
-
I was just thinking about starting a separate thread and posting the other deck plans that I have in this book. It has all three of the original ships plus "The all new!" Tropicale. Maybe I will head it up as a Carnival history thread and folks can post info or ask questions about all this kind of stuff. I'll work on it tonight, keep and eye out.
Grady, I think thats a great idea.

I'm still trying to figure out this odd Carnival card from 1998!
The lady to whom it was issued works for a major airline for some decades now
so she gets all sorts of perks travel-industry-wide.
Is this card a special issue for industry workers? Travel agents?
What? -does anyone know?
It's not the standard cruise card for the era, because I've seen some of them
and they are nothing like this 'Plain Jane'-lookin card!
.
Wow thats a nice find

How to win at Black Jack

The first thing i remember when i hear the name of this ship is Leon Klinghoffer.. Poor man.. I was a kid when that happened and i still remember it being on the news.. it was so frightening..
We must be around the same age. Who would think a bunch of crazies would take a ship

Anybody remember the Carnivale...my first cruise experience, and of course a fond one..
Im sorry I misse out on the early days of carnival. Those early ships looked like great fun ships and fun times.

I was on that ship when it went out of Tampa. We also made a stop in New Orleans, before going back to Tampa.

This ship was my first cruise. I was all of 14 years old. My father booked us and inside cabin, with four of us in there. I also remember going down a deck and you could look through a window and see in the pool underwater. I also remember the old slot machines in the casino, and walking up on the bridge when we got on the ship before we left Miami and no one was on the bridge yet. TRY DOING THAT TODAY. I wish I could remember more

I have a young daughter, and thats a great story with a happy ending. I almost cried.

My wife tried to make it the other night. Well lets say I have another thing to look forward to for my next cruise. You can't beat Carnival the way they cook certain things.

My mouth is watering from just reading the title! :o
ME TOO

I would never travel without a passport. They are good for 10 years, and very soon you will need one to cross the street. I also have them for my kids. Once you have one its very easy to renew. Also they are very good ID for the DMV.

It is a popular comment made by many cruisers that they find the constant music being played in such locations and the elevators, restaurants, poolside etc to be obtrusive.
In particular, according to research, the predominent liners who favor such loud music at all times are Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
What are your thoughts on the constant (usually loud) music played during your relaxing vacation?
All feedback is welcome to this thread.
Thank you for help regarding this piece of research..

I sail on the Dream in a cove on Saturday. I still may not book 1 for Europe for another reason. I want to book the trans atlantice cruise and my parents may also come and its nice to open the balcony divider. The balcony divider on the cove balcony's don't open.
