  1. The best desert hands down is the melting chocolate cake. But, if you’re into crème boûlée you can request it even if it’s not on the menu for the next night. Just talk to the head waiter and order it for the next night.

  2. Agree Bob. But a tip I learned here on CC. Bring an empty spray bottle. Also bring a dryer sheet (fabric softener sheet). Once in your cabin put the dryer sheet in the spray bottle and fill with water. Instant wrinkle releaser. No need to carry or pack a full liquid bottle. Really works. Try at home if you are skeptical!

Thank you!! Oh the things you learn by reading CC!

  3. CCL has the chocolate melting cake dessert available every evening in the dining room. One of the best chocolate desserts at sea.

Princess only has it available in the specialty steak restaurant.

Yes!! The best dessert at sea! We will board the Ruby in April. I hope I can convince someone to make me a melting chocolate cake. 🤞🏼

  4. This is exactly what we did last year and we loved it! Very easy to get a taxi, they'll be right there waiting for you, lots of them. We paid I think $20. for the 2 of us, afterwards I noticed folks getting them for $15. so you can negotiate. The boats have a window on the bottom, nice boat ride to the arch, sea lions close by, they feed the fish so you see alot of action through the window. Afterwards we walked through though the market & made our way to Cabo Wabofor tacos and beer. On the way back we paid $25.00 for massages along the roadside (noticed a small sign), we really enjoyed them. Very enjoyable time, I'm sure you'll have a great time!

  5. I thought only prepackaged snacks were allowed off the ship. Someone had mentioned police dogs sniffing for food and people having to throw away sandwiches/fruit/produce taken a shore...something about transporting insects and being a danger to the local agriculture....

16 cruises and haven’t had a problem. We’ve usually do this when we go to the beach where there won’t be a grocery store around. My husband is immune suppressed so we try not to buy street food or small venue food in certain countries (really bad Mexico experience once 🤢).

    We don’t bring fruit/vegetables or nuts/seeds.
