  1. We live in Orlando, & drive to the Ft. Lauderdale a few times a year. In my opinion, if you take the Florida Turnpike, which travels away from the beaches, you can make it in about three and a half hours, including holidays. As opposed to taking 95 all the way. Now, if there's an accident, all bets are off. If you listen to radio station 96.5, they have traffic reports quite often

  2. Hello John Bull. You seem to be the one with the most helpful information about London . Perhaps you can help us. We will be in London for only one day prior to our cruise. We booked a hotel near Buckingham Palace. We would like to see as much as possible in that short amount of time. My question to you is, we are in our 70's, and traveling from Heathrow to the hotel, and from the hotel to Harwich would not be easy for us by train. Do you have any recommendations for car or bus service that we could use. As inexpensive as possible. Thank you Jay

  3. renmar....we just returneed from an 11 day cruise on the wind 3/22....as i wrote in my mini review...the wind is an older ship and the stabilizers make for a rough ride on the pacific....we ate in most of the restaurants on the ship and found the servers to be very efficient, and do their jobs quite well....as for the food, it was just o.k....nothing to write home about ,but edible...the crew does a wonderful job cleaning the ship..the only complaint that i might have in that respect was in the sports bar and grill where they have buffet meals...its small, and the tables are not cleaned as quickly as they should be, that being said, the ship is quite clean....i just hope you have better weather than we did, it rained 10 out of the 11 days
