Careful now. Your belief about using social media all they want could be wrong. Once in Bermuda they will be roaming off their domestic carrier if they use cell phones for social media. There could be thousands of dollars in fees depending on who they use as their cell phone carrier if your belief is wrong.

True. Thank you. We have Verizon, including the international plan, but I should call to make sure. Maybe the best thing is to buy the package from the boat. Better safe than sorry.

My husband and I have 4 boys, 14 - 21, and I was going to get the social media package for them but I was wondering if it is worth it because we are only at sea for 3 days. Once on land they can use social media all they want I believe. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Whether they do or don’t (I have never seen them in a cruise ship gift shop), they would be significantly more expensive than what you can pick up at home. A sporting goods store, department store or online retailer each sell a variety of snorkel goods for about what you can rent them for. For kids, some place like 5 Below would have inexpensive ones that will get them interested in a joyful sport. My advice would be to buy them at home.

Thanks! I was on another cruise line that only charged 5 dollars per snorkel which was great. I do not want to take the chance that they do not sell them though. Our kids love to snorkel:)

Hello everyone:

I am going to Bermuda on the Escape with my family in a few weeks. There are 10 of us, all at different stages, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me their experience on the glass bottom boat and snorkel? There are only 3 reviews and they are from years ago. Also, can you buy snorkels on the boat? I hate using snorkeling equipment unless it is my own and I need some new stuff:) Any other suggestions on excursions would be great. We range fro 13 to 80.

I am cruising with a group of 10 on the Escape this summer. We all have balconies and would like to open the balcony partitions so we can have one large balcony. Is this possible? Someone told me that it is not allowed but I find that hard to believe. Other cruise lines have had no problems opening them up for us in the past.

Part of the cost of your stay is transportation to and from the terminal. We are staying there in June and the cost is about $30.00 more than parking at the terminal.
