I think you have a better chance of going to Canada.
I’m also on this cruise.... how far in advance do they usually inform you of an itinerary change?
I’m guessing there are no refunds for changed itineraries?
Although I’ve been watching the weather and it’s supposed to hit the Carolinas on Thursday.... Bermuda weather on the 15th: High 80s and wind speeds are significantly reduced compared to Wednesday.
Still...crossing my fingers and hoping for a good experience!

New Cruiser here.
How does the casino work to get chips while playing at a table?
Do you give the table cash and they give you chips?
Do they charge your account?
Thanks for your help!

New cruiser here, are you charged for room service?
-
I've gotten inside and balcony ...casino offers.
I had an inside booked on one trip and a day before we left, got a free upgrade to Premium Balcony.
Booked a balcony deal for my my next cruise...don't think it will get better than that!
When sailing solo, I'm just happy to have a place to stay...:)
Can you explain the casino offers? Are they from playing on the carnival cruise
-
Can I ask what category of cabin you were able to find those solo deals on?
Thanks!

Thanks, how do they check your carry-on luggage?
-
Do rum runners work?
Do they hand check your carry-on or is it is run through a scanner?
Has anyone tried wearing a rum runner through the check-in?
Thanks in advance

So I’ve watched some of the videos of people missing getting back on the ship when it is leaving port.
I was wondering what do these cruisers do when they are stranded at a port without their luggage?
-
I was wondering, the Cheers program when departing from New York Ports, doesn't go in effect until 6am the next morning. You aren't charged for the first night. But are you charged for the last day when you arrive in Port?
Thanks,
-
And if you decide to do the salad bar right there for lunch, you don't have to give up your lounger for the afternoon in case you wish to make a full day of it there. The only other times you would need to get up would be to get a another cold libation or to use the facilities.
Do they have a wait staff there taking orders and delivering to your chair?
-
Yes, but please utilize the area when you arrive and not just become a chair hog. No idea as to what time the bar there opens. I know they have a new salad bar in Serenity for lunch that is supposed to be good.
Yes, we would most likely use it all day in the morning until we go for lunch.
I have only ever been to all inclusive resorts and can not stand it when I'm at the beach / pool at 7 and see towels and loungers that go untouched for 3-4 hours.
-
The only times that the Serenity area is not full is when there is bad weather or sometimes while the ship is in port.
Worthwhile to get to the Serenity section early in the morning and reserve a spot? What time does the Serenity bar open in the morning?
-
Are you able to use your onboard credit for tips? Do you have to sign off on it at the end of the trip? Or do you just tell them at the start?

Hello,
We are cruising the Horizon in September and are staying in a Spa Balcony room. Does anyone know if this allows us access to the Havana area? What are the thoughts on the Serenity adults only section? Does this area fill up?
-
hello, cruising from New York to Bermuda (4 nights) and was wondering what the casino hours usually are for this short of a trip?
Thanks in advance,
-
A bit off topic, but because this is active. Do people try to reserve loungers / recliners early in the morning like they do at all inclusive resorts?
Also, what time do the bars open in the morning?
Do you typically have the same bartenders / servers working the same hours / bars for the duration of the cruise?
Thanks again, it looks like I’ll probably go with the cheers package.
-
Wow. Thanks for all the insightful responses. It's nice to be able to get such great advice and experiences prior to the trip. Do you usually tip the servers if you're getting the Cheers program and buying beers? (Also, can you get bottles of beer on the cheers program? Or is it restricted to draft?)
-
Would it be possible to get a bucket of beer and take it to your room to keep in your fridge? then go back to buying beers from the bar with the cheers program?
Can you buy a bucket with the cheers program per day? Or is it one per trip?
-
Thanks for the response Sophia, what would the cost be for a bucket / tower of beer?
Are you limited to the kinds of beers you can have with the Cheers program?
Could I order two drinks at a time? for example two mimosa's in the morning to take back to our cabin?

Hello everyone,
I'm going on my first cruise next September to Bermuda with my wife. I was curious is someone can provide some information regarding their experiences with the drink package vs paying per drink.
1. Are you able to purchase buckets of beer? (My father was on a cruise and could buy 6 beers for the price of 5). I'm a beer drinker, and can sit back and enjoy beers throughout the day, but not looking to get drunk.
2. Our cruise is only a 4 day cruise, with one at sea, one day at bermuda, and another return day at sea.
3. My wife doesn't drink much, however would probably be interested in the other virgin frozen drinks.
4. Does the Cheers! package allow you to take drinks to the cabin? As in if I wanted a mimosa or bloody mary in the morning, could you have it delivered to your room?
I guess I'm new to this, a part of me would rather save for it and buy early than have to see what all was spent after the trip. Another part isn't sure spending $100+ each day when we are at a port for 1/3 of the trip.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hurricanes, where do they re route you for a bermuda cruise?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Also, do all cruise ships sail along the coast line then head out to Bermuda? Or if leaving from New York, would they head east into the Atlantic and turn south to Bermuda?
