Before leaving I contemplated packing my Dyson hair dryer. In the end I opted to use what was on the ship. Anyone that is use to a certain hair dryer here is a pic of what they provide. Not great and I wish I had my own. Other then that we had a fabulous cruise no complaints!!! 

We rented from Avis for our upcoming cruise and they confirmed they will pick us up.

Some hotels don't advertise day rooms. But if you call they will have them.
