HERE'S the link to the MSC page for "Status Match".

It's explained a little better HERE.

My Carnival Diamond status and Celebrity Elite Plus status both managed GOLD with MSC. However, I just learned that Azamara Discoverer Plus (I think that's what it was) translated to MSC Diamond. So, I ventured over to the Azamara site and managed to log in (amazingly easy since it was the same log in as Celebrity!), captured a screen shot of my status page, filled out the form at MSC and attached the screenshot. In under 24 hours I received an email with my MSC Voyagers number (w/Diamond tier). All this, and I've never sailed MSC or Azamara! 🙂

I was trying to replicate what you did...what form did you fill out and attach your screenshot to?  I tried to sign up for Voyager # but I don't have any sailings.

  2. @Stealthdog  Really appreciate all your details!  Looking forward to Sailing on Beyond in March.  We stayed in an IV on the Edge the year it came out.  I was disappointed in the IV for the cons that you mentioned.  We booked a SV this time on Beyond.  I will share comparisons when we get back.  I will really miss AQ!  I've been trying to book the weekly Thermal Suite but we don't feel it's worth $440 for both of us.

    Thanks for the great information!
From where Beyond docked in st Maarten, would it be easy to walk over to the beaches or town on your own?

We have taken the water taxi several times.  However, last March we decided to walk to town as I read on here that was very possible.  It isn't far - you walk through the market at the port then down the street and you're there.  We saw lots of mountain goats. This beach is Great Bay Beach.  Very beautiful.  Lots of chairs available to purchase.  This trip we are planning to go to Orient Beach as we have never been there before!

  4. I can book Le Voyage now on my cruise planner.  The only option is cover charge.  Do you know what this entails?  Do we pay prices off a menu?  Also, how do we book the tasting or Chef's table?  Can this be done on the app?  Is there availability for both each night or only certain times?  TIA

  5. We usually sail AQ on past cruises.  We didn't appreciate the IV so have booked the SV on Beyond next year.  Not sure about deck 12...hopefully someone will chime in on that:)  IMO the daily "snacks" are not worth it.  We are usually out and about so they were always warm by the time we got back.  Also, we ordered off the main dining room menu most times.  I have heard you can't do this on E class ships anymore.

  6. We will be on a SV cruise next year.  Someone had posted a numbered picture of the SV cabins (pic of back of the ship with cabin numbers typed in) and circled the larger ones.  If anyone can find that or direct me to it I would much appreciate it!

Second, are the beds alternating - by balcony/ by bathroom in the SV and how do you know which your cabin is in?

    Thanks all!

  7. We ate in Blu on the Silhouette March of 2022.  At that time we could order from main dining room menu and have it served in Blu.  From what I've read they no longer do this.  That being said, we've been on several Celebrity cruises and the food is always a step up over other cruise line (except Disney).  We booked a SV on our next cruise and will be happy with main dining and specialty dining:)

  8. Thank you so much to all who have replied so far!

We are sailing soon but want to reserve ship tours just in case we aren't allowed off on our own!

We appreciate all the tips and suggestions!  I will report back after our cruise about the tours we did!  I wish Celebrity would have customer reviews regarding their tours!

For Barbados, I highly recommend Action Charters for catamaran/snorkeling  Action Charters.  The have a large cat and a smaller one.  The captain of the smaller one is Randal.  He is amazing.  If you have 8 people ( I just reach out to our roll call people and see if I can get enough) you can get together, you can request his boat.  The full day gives you a wonderful lunch and the rum punch flows!!  We've done it I think 3 times!!

Thank you for the recommendation!  Have you done this post pandemic shut down?  Where did you sail to?

Reporting back from our Celebrity tour West Side Treasures by Catamaran. We switched to this one based on reviews/information and I'm glad we did. We caught the catamaran right at the dock (no bus). Our Pigeon Island stop included a choice to hike to the top or spend time on the beach. We wore our water shoes and had no problem hiking to the top in them. (OK, I was a bit out of breath.) Beautiful view!

We had a great time. The timing of photos for the Pitons could have been better. By the time we got there, the lighting wasn't terrific, but what a view!

I'm including a photo of the catamaran so that you can get an idea of size.

    Thank you for sharing!

I read one group say NOT to take this tour and their group wanted to go back early?  They never answered why.

We have this booked and are excited to see the Pitons from the sea!  (and top of the hike maybe?)  If you can share anymore details about this specific tour that would be comforting and much appreciated!!!

Also, which other tours did you do on your ports if I can inquire?  THANKS
