  1. Is the waterpark at Atlantis worth it?  We are taking the 4 day cruise on the Navigator next December which also includes CoCo Caye....But wondering if booking the waterpark at Atlantis is also worth it?  We also want to visit the straw market...we are in port from 9am to 8pm...gets dark by 5pm.  We have kids ages 11 and 13

  2. Hi there,  We are a large group traveling December 2020 with kiddos ranging from age 4 to 16...

I am concerned with what i am reading as far as wait time for the new water slides...ie. limited mats/wait time etc...'

Is this a much less concern/problem on the Mariner?  The slides look more thrilling on the navigator but navigator doesnt have the cool looking sky/jump pad.

I am curious which ship people prefer in general and as per slides/sky pad...thanks so much.

We would be first time RCL cruisers.

  3. Hi there!  Looking to have a small family reunion on either ship next December 2021 and have never sailed RCL, only Carnival.  Interested in the 4 day trip to Nassau and 2 day stop at Perfect Day!  We will have kids ranging in age from 4 to 16....Interested in which ship has the better MDR food, better waterslides, entertainment etc?  I noticed the slides look similar but theres a skypad on mariner?  Is the skypad worth it?  Also, which ice skating shows seem better?  Thanks so much!

I think Navigator only one with 2 day to perfect Day?

  4. Hello! First time cruise this Sunday on Pride out of Baltimore to Half Moon, Freeport and Grand Turk..and have a few questions...

We are a family of 4 with girlies ages 9 and 11. We would like to book the Dolphin Encounter as there are still openings. I noticed it's cheaper to book directly throught the company rather than carnival? Any experiences with this?

Also, my hubby & I have passports and my daughters do not...we are bringing their birth certificates. Is this adequate? Do my husband and myself also need to bring our birth certificates? Do we need visas? We are U.S residents. We will also bring our driver license. I may be a bit paranoid but hate to get to Baltimore and not be able to get on the ship LOL

  5. thanks so much everyone for all of your help! Wanted to also ask...I saw some were saying to bring a power strip but some said a non-surge on? Does it matter?

Also, if we were to bring 12 packs of soda and two bottles of wine, I read it has to be carried on? So, we cant 'check' them with our rolling duffle to be put on the ship to our room? i would hate to have to carry this all around the ship before being allowed into our cabin

  6. Ok, Im officially confused...LOL...so, its $12.95 per person per day gratuities...so, that would be approx $50 a day for a family of 4 ...which would be approx $350 in gratuities for a 7 day cruise right? But on the Carnival site there is a graph that states $90.65 for cruise duration....help....how much would grats be for 4 ppl for 7 day cruise?
