We are first time cruisers and will be taking the Norwegian Star from LA to Mexico. Does the ship have a laundry room? Are there any other laundry service options?

We are taking the Norwegian Star from L.A. to Mexico. Do we need to bring any U.S. or Mexican cash? Does the casino on board only take cash!

what is the best time to arrive to the ship for initial departure? Are the bars open, or do you just have to wait around while everyone boards and just stand around?
