Thanks to everyone for your input on Viking payment requirements. You live and learn!

Viking terms of business says 90 days out for final payment, subject to a little wiggle room if air is included. My trip starts out from Newark airport October 17. And they want final on April 1st. That's 200 days out. Anyone have experience of this?

Anyone have experience with the optional concert promoted by Viking during the Vienna stop. I am a lover of classical music, but for $89 I can get into Carnegie Hall.

Read their fine print again.

I did. They leave themselves some wiggle room, but 200 days? No way. We fly out from ewr on October 17, and they want final on April 1st.

Just booked our first river cruise with Viking. Although their terms of business say 90 days prior to sailing for final payment, they are insisting on 200 days prior now because of us getting their air offer with a paid upgrade. Any comments please?
