Do they post themes or key dishes outside the windjammer the way they do outside the MDR the day of?

Or, does anyone (esp with my time dining) see what the mdr is doing, then stop by the wj and decide?

Can’t decide if that seems like a workable plan, or if that’s a bit much, haha. It’s a whole other project to get my wife on board with the plan too ;)

I've read Mixed reviews about whether it’s better to have drinks in your carry on or checked baggage.

Is there a consensus on which is more likely to have them let it go through?

Hi all,

First, a collective thank you for what a wealth of knowledge this board is - you guys are, collectively, fantastic ;)

Second, in a month my wife and I will be sailing on jewel of the sea - my second cruise, and her first ever. I just ordered the bogo deal (for $40/person :eek:), but I’m have a bit of buyers remorse.

I’ve heard that chops, and even giovanni’s Really is worth the upgrade, so I figure it’s worth the deal - $80 would be like one nice dinner out on land, so fine.

I’m wondering now if I should return it, and wait till on board to try to talk them down to something like $25/person, or including a bottomless brunch.

Has anyone had any luck doing this onboard? Or dothey sell out of those deals, and I should keep what I have?

Finally, am I making a mistake skipping the mdr the first two nights? Are we spoiling ourselves, and setting us up for disappointment??
