  1. Yes we are there Thursday morning till Friday afternoon. Cruise ends Saturday. Their luau is Tuesday or Friday’s so it doesn’t fit into NCL itinerary. I don’t quite understand how it fits yours unless you booked something thru the cruise ship not the luaus site

After extensive googling we chose Luau Kalamuku on Kauai.....  https://luaus.org/product/luau-kalamaku/?utm_source=Bing-Yahoo&utm_medium=PPC&utm_term=ALL&utm_content=HawaiiZip&utm_campaign=All

Don't know if it's the best because neither of us has been to a luau but this one fit our itinerary well and reviews were favorable.

Looks great but unfortunately it is not done when the Pride of America is in port....Thanks

  3. We visited Santo wines winnery ,the monastery in the top of the mountain(very beautiful view),the red and the black beach and Oia villagio and paid 60 euros per hour for a 8 seated minibus with english speaking driver

Were you with a group of people who booked this together? It sounds grat but it is not listed as a regular scheduled tour.. What ship were you on? Our ship is there from 12-10pm which leaves me out of most excursions I want to do. THANKS>

  4. Could you tell me where you found that cooking and wine class? Was that through your ship?

ShoreExcursions group for com thru cost co trav el

But if you google the excursion name you can find it direct. If you cannot let me know

  5. Rent a little car at Tony's and explore the island in your own. That's what I've decided to do.

Ummm Interesting! Where is Tonys? How much are car rentals?

  6. Anyone have any ideas of what to do in Santorini? My husband and I will be there in July. We'd like to have a leisurely day by hitting up some wineries, but not sure of the best plan of action to take. Any help would be great!

I have been looking also ...for weeks. Everything I find does NOT coincidewith our ship, the Constellations , schedule there. I explored 5 different sailing excursions..all no good. Then last night found this great wine tasting and cooking class tour but it starts at 10:30 so if you ar docking early, look into that one.:):)

  7. OK ITS LOOKS LIKE NONE of the sailing companies I contacted (about 4 or 5 now) can accommodate us on the Constellation for the hours we are in port. They cannot get us back on time for the semi-private cruise. The only recommendation was a private tour which was reasonable if you have 4-5 people, which I cannot seem to get. I am so extremely disappointed:(:(. These sounded like the IDEAL way to spend a day in the Greek Islands. waaaaa

  8. Has anyone booked a catamaran or sailboat for day or sunset cruise in Santorini? I have been looking at TripAdvisor recommendations but none of them mention hours or availability for cruise ship passengers. I would appreciate any firsthand info if you have done this.

I emailed quite a few and got quotes. Im especially interested in th sunet cruises that start around 3 since I'm on the Constellation and we tender from 12:30 to 10pm.. They sound wonderful but I'm concerned about getting back on time. Caldera yachting and Spiradokos were the two most responsive to my questions. Two I never heard back from yet and its been a week.

SO I'm looking for first hand info too....:)

  9. Questions for those of you who have been in Santourini before...We are looking at island cruises..sunset..5 hours... that sound magnificent. One gets back to Fira by the cable car around 9, They other said I would be back on Constellation by 9:30??. Any problem then getting on the ship on time?? I think we leave at 10:00PM ?? Thanks I REALLY want to do one of these cruises...

  10. We booked with Choice Air and were able to change and get a lower fare by telling them we would pay the change fee.

I think as of yesterday the lower fare would equal the change fee but now the price dropped again..$326 less for each of us ($652 now!) so I will call again BUT I don't want to lose my Economy plus seats with Delta, which I paid for extra by myself. Cannot get delta on the phone to help us.. Tried for THREE weeks. They have horrible customer service.

  11. Most of the time for us Choice Air has the lowest fare. For our upcoming cruise to Europe which I booked in December. I was carefully watching the air prices. Choice Air was less than Delta. Then I saw Delta raised price. Panicked that would go up again so booked through Choice Air. Then the price did go up. All travel sits said to book Europe about 6 months in advance which I did. WELL down the flight is DOWN. Of course Choice Air will do nothing for me..Why is buying airfare such a gamble?:confused: I can almost see going up as the plane fills but going up and then down makes no sense.Air costing more than 8 day cruise!!.Oh well..Just venting.................

  12. Nothing surprises me any more with Celebrity where the only thing that's consistent is their inconsistency.

The entrance requirements are clearly stated on their site and well known here. If you weren't in a century suite or above and you were admitted, someone should be probably be shot (as in given an opportunity to find another job with another company) ....

There are just no words to answer that.

  13. Michael's club is only available to those in a celebrity suite or higher...or those who have earned the zenith level in the captain's club.

Not so in our case......We were in Michaels Club on all three Summit voyages. Last one was August..and I did check before we booked on the Constellation for this July. We are still allowed to go...

    JUST found this on website

    Elite Tier

Our Elite members** know that loyalty yields great rewards, including complimentary Internet and laundry services and complimentary Captain's Club cocktail hour.

Maybe it will be held in another room on some ships????

  14. We are RCL diamond and will be trying the Celebrity Silhouette in 2016 (Israel/Med).

What are the differences between the two cruiselines? We prefer aft balconies- is the C1 concierge class the way to go? Is it worth the extra cost compared to a regular Verandah? 2154 C1 is open for the cruise we want.

    Thanks in advance!

We too are Diamond on RCCL and then started cruising Celebrity more. Celebrity gives us 90 Internet minutes, dry cleaning, laundry which we dont get on RCCL. The Diamond club for drinks before dinner is similar to Celebritys Michaels Club But for the ships we were on Diamond Club was better. ..We have been in sky suite (upgraded), Aqua Class and Concierge and Veranda on Celebrity. We are usually D2, D3 on RCCL. I look at price. On our Celebrity cruise in Europe this coming summer, we got a $750 captains club discount on the Veranda. It did NOT pay to upgrade to Concierge for the 1,2,3 because it would of cost us $1200 more!! So look at the numbers and make an informed decision. You will LOVE Celebrity..food, service superb..though I think RCCL usually has better nightlife! Enjoy...

  15. I have in the past 12 years always booked direct with the cruiseline. However now I am in the process of transferring my reservation to a TA associated with a national warehouse store in order to get a good amount of OBC. My question is If you have a booking with TA, can you print your final documents and your sailing pass yourself from Celebrity website or do you have to wait for the TA to mail everything to you?

I like to be somewhat in control but I dont want to go to Europe without any OBCs!!!:D:D

  16. I am on the Summit Feb 2015 and reviewed the classic package beverage list and realized that captain has been pulled from the list....the premium doesn't even list it anymore.......Has anyone gone and was able to get my beloved captain?

Captain has been on the Summit for us! Hope he returns for you:):)

  17. I am very interested in taking the water taxi from the airport to the cruise terminal. Yes it may cost more than a taxi but will I ever be in Venice again??? The question is the plane is supposed to land 11:15 am. I would like to be on the ship around 3:00 ish. Where do I get this water taxi and more important how long does it take to disembark the plane, get luggage etc etc???? How long is this ride? Has anyone does this within this time frame?

    Thanks so very much.
