  1. I did a forum search on this, but couldn't find anything.  I haven't received a magazine for a really long time.  Did they stop sending?  If they email it to you, I have cancelled that email address and now have a new one.  Do I call Princess to get it changed or is there a link I can go on to view?  I really miss that magazine.

My mistake.  I misunderstood your original post.  I only checked on B and R (not D) and they definitely are deeper.

This is a corner aft B734 on the Regal.  One side is narrow but the back is huge.

And B735 on the Royal (sister to the Regal)

    Was B735 covered

  3. We will be on Regal Princess sailing out of Galvestion TX

I did go through posts in search of the correct answers, but would like more claification from people who have sailed out of this port.

If you have the drink package, you can not use it until the next day?

Do they credit that day when you get on the ship, because the drink package I purchased I see is priced for 7 days, not 6

If you are in a Suite or Elite, do you still get your bar set up on embarkment day?

Can you purchase drinks or a bottle of wine the first day on the ship?

    Thank you for your help.

I have seen the option online a few times, but not often.

When excusions open up a few months before the cruise, I got an email saying I could book excusions.  When the excusion I wanted was booked, there was a link asking if I wanted to be on waitlist.

When you are on the ship.  However, as has been pointed out in a previous post, the last few times I have cruised post Covid, there's been a digital sign near the desk that said something to the effect of "Sorry, we are sailing at capacity, and there are no cabins available for upgrades."

    good to know.  Thank you

If your bid isn't accepted, you can always try the front desk when you board, and then maybe after the ship leaves, in case they have a no-show or someone else moves cabins. That way you can ask to see a cabin and evaluate location. If you have some noise or other issue with a cabin, that might also be an option. The bid process will probably be more difficult now, with fuller ships, though. Last-minute bids might also be a good option, since you can see with a pretend booking which cabins have the most availability, if at all. So for Island Princess next week, balconies are sold out but there a number of obstructed Oceanview cabins that people probably don't want for a Mediterranean cruise, and the $20-80 bid range reflects it, so that's what I'm aiming for. How much you paid might also give you some preference--my sister was upgraded on our cruise from inside to the obstructed balcony for free, but she paid for Plus, whereas I'm Elite but didn't spring for Plus and wasn't upgraded.

When you say check with the front desk.  Is that when you first check in or after you are on the ship.

150pp,  hope you win an upgrade (how much did you bid?)  I upgraded our bid two days ago from 125/pp.

Are you happy with the location you received?  Right now I am in E424 in the middle of everything with a large balcony and don't know if I want to bid on a mini suite in a location I might not like with a smaller balcony.

I recommend that you write up and account of what you did and include ship voyage, date, etc, and send to Customer Relations at PCL HQ and see if they can do something.

When you say "applied", did you use the new function in the Princess App or did you do it the "old" way by filling out the paper form and dropping into Future Cruise mailbox on the ship?

    CustomerRelations@PrincessCruises.com

I did it on the ship filling out the paper

  9. I had applied for 2 Future Cruise Deposits when I was on the ship to use on future cruises. I noticed my credit card was not charged and that I never received an email confirmation.  Also checked my account and nothing was there either.  So I am assuming something went wrong and it did not happen.  I tried talking to an agent at Princess, but they did not understand.  Is there any way to still be able to get this or am I now out of luck?

We had bid on a mini-suite and a club class mini-suite.  About 2 weeks ago they sent me a counteroffer to bid on a penthouse suite for $650 a person, so I did and won. I am not sure if that was a low bid or not, but considering the price to book a suite from the get-go was a lot more per person, I think we got a great deal!

    did they call or email?

We were successful in our bid for a penthouse suite, but this is our first suite and I have questions.  I found a list of all the amenities and I was wondering how the first-night specialty dining works.  Do we just show up?  How do we set up the mini-bar?  We already have a standing reservation for dinner, but I see that there is a dining room for us, which one is that (we are on the Crown)?  Is there anything else I need to know?  Thank you!

Sorry this is off track on what you asked, but can you please tell me if you bided week, strong, or excellent?  I want to bid on a suite and not sure what the chances are with bidding.

So the Premium Desserts are available 2x/day under the Princess Plus program, which includes the Beverage package.  I assume that's what you mean.

I'm struggling to find a decent quality image of one of the menu's, but here's an image to give a general idea of these desserts until someone comes in with a picture of an actual menu with descriptions.

    They're........interesting.

They don't look very good to me.

  13. Checked our tracking on when we are getting our Medallions. They will be arriving at our house after we have left for Europe. Going a week before the cruise. Do I contact Princess and let them know I need one once  get on the ship?  Not sure the proper way of getting one.

As far as your dining reservations...it is much easier to see on a tablet/laptop/desktop via the "web-based" applet.  You can see much easier the number of days and it clearly shows what you have booked.  I gave up on trying to do this on the app a long time ago...though I hear it is much better now.  I tend to do everything on a desktop...

I see it on my lap top, but couldn't on my tablet. Thank you for replying
