So is the open on or not 😂

We sail on Sky Princess on Saturday. Was wondering is there any chance the golf will be on Sunday. We will be at sea on the way to Norway.

How much is the upgrade ?
-
Yes £840 difference. Not worth paying that.
just got off Iona and got the drinks package for £480 and got wi fi one day and used our data in ports.
might be worth asking my travel agent to see the cost of 2 cabins which we have done before. I can get one with my daughter and my wife with the other daughter then I’ll get the plus on our room.

Yes, that is the way it works. Remember that the fare for 3rd and 4th passengers is cheaper. It will also cover the girls' wi-fi and gratuities. Is that difference in price you quoted the difference between the Princess Savers fare and the Princess Plus fare?
I’ll do a test booking and see the difference… -
We are looking at booking for July 23. Our family would be in a mini suite, it’s me , my wife and girls 17 & 15.
would I have to pay the princess plus for all 4 of us ? That would be another £830.
me and my wife would drink at least 8 drinks a day plus a coffee. My girls only drink water.

Just booked this cruise for next May - American dream cruise. Will be our 1st cruise with marella after 5 with P&O.
Been Watching lots of videos and the ship looks great. Think Bar 11 will be our main hangout. Can 17 & 15 year olds go in there?
What’s the kids club like , think it’s called hangout.

Definitely use a good cruise Travel Agent. You will get an extra discount if you do that.
we did that after your advice and it worked well. Thanks. -
Very helpful this as want to get the package and wasn’t sure I had to book it when I book the holiday. Just me and my wife will be getting it and not my kids as they only drink water.

Thought it was great on Iona most people had a tux on in the restaurants last Sunday. It’s the only time me and the Mrs go out like that so I hope they keep it going.

Who else loved this place? What a amazing atmosphere in there. Went every night to see the bands / singers.
Just a pity you can’t stay in there after the show. Ian berry did some great sets in there so make sure you see him if he’s playing.

I found the app ok. You had to log out and log back in a lot to get on it though.
On service in the crows nest and Brodie’s we didn’t have a problem getting a drink. Took longer in the club house though. The restaurants wasn’t to bad. We would order a wine a good 10 min before we wanted one.

Olden we did the cable car. Amazing day on top with the snow. My girls loved it as they hadn’t seen snow like that in 10 years.
also booking on the quay side saved us £200 per family the. Going with P&O- 4

Mixed on this. Didn’t think it was worth the extra £28 at all. I had the t bone pork and it wasn’t nice. Left half of it as was very chewy. My cousin had the steak which was no better then the one the night before in the coral. Both our wife’s and sister in law loved it though.

I don't think there was nightclub in Limelight. On our Feb Iona- the club house was the night club for late night drinks and dancing til about 2-3am
710 had a live band and was v popular- you had to queue quite early for it!
The clubhouse ? Not heard of that one. I’ll take a look.

Does anyone know if the limelight turns into a nightclub after the show? And if so what time. Can’t find any info if there is a night club on Iona.
Also what’s the best bar for live music ?Going in 2 weeks.
cheers

We have decided to change from Ventura August canaries to oceana August 2021 canaries.
Gutted we won’t get on the Ventura as not done that ship. But sure we will in the future.
the oceana had no balcony rooms left for 4 so having to get 2 rooms with obstructed view but happy to get on it.
so warning guys a lot of people are doing the same thing my holiday rep said.

Booked on for August 10th around the Canaries and I’ve never been on Ventura before.
on the oceana I loved the fact there was a club to go to for a drink and meet a few people also a couple of decent bars.
does the Ventura have a club or a late bar?

Was out Saturday in Liverpool city centre in a few posh bars and restaurant. Drinks for a pint of beer on Ave £5-7 and cocktails £8-12
was telling friends people say drinks on cruises are expensive well I beg to differ.

On a 2 week cruise it’s usually 4 formal nights.

It all depends on what you are looking for. Your in laws have good taste with P&O but you could also try Celebrity and Princess. Personally we stay away from the ships with bumper cars, ice rinks, flow riders and parades on the prom, if I wanted a theme park I'd book a weekend at Alton Towers! Do you want Southampton departures or would you consider a fly cruise?
Dont mind really. The one we have just done we flew to Malta which wasn’t as bad as we thought as the wife takes everything.
Done 3 in the med now so ruling that out for a few years. Wanted to go Iceland next year but it was adult only ship.

Yes mate they had a good choice. Bar 11 was good as well for a whiskey & cocktail.
