Coming from Arizona & California I had never had a whole Lobster.Watch out for the boiling water coming from the lobster.

From now on only Lobster Tails.

We were going on our 2d HAL cruise after Alaska. Westerdam Fl to LA. booked air and transfers in FL with HAL.Were upgraded to a mini suite two doors from the outside elevator on the port side. We really like the upgrade. Had booked a balcony so the upgrade to the mini suite was great.

Do not see it mentioned but 45 or so minutes east of San Pedro/Long Beach is the Anaheim, Buena Park area with many hotels. Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm,

As a Princess newby and 3 star Hal, I am trying to find out how the gratuities are handled on Priness.

Just received my post of the credit for our costal cruise on our first Princess cruise.

Think that with this I am ahead on the purchase of the stock.

3 star HAL

We are going to have our first Princess cruise in a week and a half of the Ruby.

When on HAL all we have had to do is stop at the main desk and they would give you meclizine.

Does Princess do the same?

photocopied the page in my brokers monthly report with the Carnival stock shown. Redacted all act #'s and anything I thought should be removed. Sent to my travel agent.

Low &behold a few days later it appeared on my Carnival page.

Easy peasy

We were absurd the Westerdam a few years ago going thru the Panama Canal when we stopped in the lock and looking from our port balcony we saw a gangway being pushed on board. Next thing an ambulance came along side unloaded a gurney and pushed it onboard and in a few minutes they were exiting the ship with a patient and second person loaded with suitcases leaving the ship. Gangway removed and we were on our way again.

Thoughts on Princess as we have almost always said on HAL

We will be on the March 18 sailing of the Ruby Princess. Wondering how it goes with tendering into Santa Barbara,

This is our first Princess cruise. we are 3 star Mariners on HAL so a whole new ball game for us.

Have enjoyed your pictures. Most recently your pictures of Herman the German. Used to see the crane when it worked for the US Navy in Long Beach. It was reparations to the US from Germany after WWII. Then we enjoyed seeing it when we transited the Canal several years ao. It is sure Big.

I find it interesting that with two ships leaving the fleet at the same time a new one comes on line, that a lot of the crew would be from the Stantandam and Ryndam.

The 8 of us leave about 8:30 in the morning to drive from Orange County to San Diego.

We are are all ready to go. Including the two Grandsons.

I enjoyed your video to Alaska and back. We have done it twice. Last time two weeks on the Amsterdam.

We went thru the Panama Canal on the Westerdam and she is a beautiful ship.
