  1. I have taken a lot of cruises on RCCL, but I am tying to find a 2 night cruise leaving from either Jacksonville, Port Canaveral, or Tampa. Searching among the smaller cruise lines is not as easy as searching the larger cruise lines. Is anyone aware of ANY line currently offering a 2 night cruise? It doesn't matter where to. :)

So far I have only found the one on Bahamas Paradise Cruise line. Sadly, their schedule does fit what is needed for this trip. :/

Thank you all in advance for your help.

  2. I stayed in 6388 on my last nagivator cruise. I loved the room. I would take this room over the same category on the sides. There are cabins above you and an extended deck on the back. I did not find this deck to get in the way at all. You cannot see straight down into the water with any of the voyager class aft cabins no matter what deck you are on. Unless you are against the railing of your balcony, those above you cannot see you. The only downside to this room if while you are are on the balcony you will hear the door on deck 5 (employee area) open and close a lot. So the chances you you sleeping on your balcony is slim. There is not much traffic inside the ship in this area, so you will not hear anything outside your stateroom door.

The room is much larger then other E1 rooms, as with the case of all the aft cabins. I would reccomend staying away fromthe corner afts on (i beleive it is) deck 8. They do not have sliding glass doors. Just a regular door and a small window. So you do not get much of a few while inside your cabin. Also we fit 2 loungers 1 small table and 2 chairs on our balcony with plenty of walking room.

Just to show my devotion to aft cabins I am in 1688 on my upcoming cruise. Also in regards to getting a suite, remember you get 2 cruise credits for booking any suite with RCCLs C&A program. And about feeling movement, the only movement we noticed was when the ship first started its engines you will feel a slight vibration for only a few minutes. It is all smooth sailing after that.

  3. cruizinrican, it looks to me like a made up story trying to tell a funny story. I highly doubt that anyone would be able to "snook" a dog on a cruise ship.

And nbastats, I really don't like to comment on others parenting, but I'm shocked that you would allow a 14 year old to make out with a boy on a cruise ship.

I am right there with you about not wanting to comment on others peoples kids, but I must say if her DD is 14 and only making out the mom is ahead of the game. So many girls these days are sexually active and pregenant and/ of have STDs these days.
