  1. Hi all! I have booked my wedding for august 2020 out of the Manhattan cruise terminal. We chose to do the carnival classic package. Any brides out there that have done embarkation wedding? We are trying to figure a way to keep us from seeing each other the morning of the wedding (during check in, while getting ready) before the ceremony... we are staying in a hotel the night before but we dont want to rent a whole seperate room for one night.

Also I'm planning on bringing a few things on board which I'm assuming would have to be in my carry on? a guest book, wedding favors, and card box and my dress!

For the reception, I already have a rough draft of a playlist for the hour which comes with the package. We are intending on bringing our own mp3 player iPhone whichever bc the music options they offer dont seem promising. I am still concerned about how many actual minutes of music I will need for the whole thing.

If anyone has any tips I would be so greatful!!

  2. My FH and I decided we wamted to get married on a carnival cruise ship. Not only is it a fraction cheaper than what we originally had planned, it's also our favorite way to vacation! However, we were looking towards getting married in 2020. The only embarkation port close enough to drive to is the NYC port but the cruises leaving from NYC have not been posted yet for 2020. Does anyone know when carnival will post their newest schedules?
