I was booked mid ship balcony on deck 15 with bids on H6 and H5 both mid-fair bids for Escape 5/13th. I called ncl yesterday because only one Haven h6 was showing. They would have gladly upgraded me to that one room, but the price would have been more than I paid for the entire cruise! Today, haven showed sold out all day. After talking to the hubby we decided to grab one of the spa balcony rooms, only a few left. One was a spa mini but directly under sun deck so I was a little nervous (although hubby and daughter could sleep thru a tornado) lol. The spa balcony we upgraded to is right below the edge of sun deck so fingers crossed. Hoping the spa access will be worth it. Anyway, when I called to upgrade they told me haven was sold out. I kept my bids just Incase someone cancels last minute tomorrow, but greatly reduced my bid amount. Happy sailing to all! We are so excited and ready for week of relaxing, eating and beaching!

Anyone get awarded a Haven upgrade for the 13th sailing on Escape? Last night there were 2 Haven suites available, one aft and one Owners. His morning all gone. Wondering if they awarded them or if they all truly sold out which would be the first time I’ve personally seen that happen.

 

Far cry from the old upgrade process, where tons of rooms would go unsold, I think this bidding process is turning a lot of passengers such as us some years ago into full fare paying Haven guests.

 

Chime in if you got awarded a Haven upgrade on 13th sailing of Escape this week.

We are the 13th on the Escape and nothing yet. I checked a few minutes ago and showing 2 havens left. We’re so excited about vacation, an upgrade would just be an extra surprise. I know notification could be 48 hrs prior to sailing, but heard Wednesday is a popular day! 6 more days to sailing! Woo hoo!

Have a fantastic cruise. We sail the Escape soon as well. Hope you and your daughter have a fantastic time and get to do a lot of mother daughter bonding. Fingers crossed for your upgrade!

Do they ever accept bids on the weekend? We are leaving on the 13th Escape. We are so excited, my daughter keeps asking every day if it’s time! Hoping to know by Monday… But it’s going to be a great vacation either way💗

Maybe people in the H5's will bid and that will free up other H5's. I'm trying to decide whether to up my bid and/or bid on another category. :eek: :confused:

May 13th sailing on the escape...originally had multiple bids but canceled bid to H5. Only 2 rooms left and afraid of getting the one that is noisy. Heard multiple people complaining about noise in that particular room because near ping pong table. Wondering if I should try and upgrade to regular aft stateroom. My husband loves the aft and I’m not relying on winning bid for aft penthouse. Ugh! Decisions, decisions. Hope I don’t regret canceling bid on H5!

I think we have some people on this thread who are getting pretty excited about upcoming cruises!!!!

Can’t wait for our Bermuda cruise on the escape in May. Looks like there is about 5 H6 and 4 H4 left. Hoping they don’t sell out because still 6 weeks to go! Happy with my balcony but would love to try the Haven!
