I see that Celebrity is using American Airlines for their flights now. I like the convenience of using this service (I don't have to deal with airlines if cruise is postponed) but the flight times and lack of direct flights are a disappointment. We are booked on a Canadian/New England cruise leaving Boston on August 31st. Can anyone share and pros and cons on booking with Flights by Celebrity verses booking flights on our own? Thanks in advance!

Well, "Providence, Maine" may be a foreign port, since Providence is in Rhode Island.😉
Sorry! I meant to say Portland

My Celebrity Cruise (Summit) that is scheduled to sail on August 29th was originally a New England/Canadian cruise is still a "go" according to my travel specialist. Since Canada ports are closed, I'm wondering where they might reroute this cruise to? It's scheduled to stop in Bar Harbor and Providence, Maine. The other ports were all Canadian. Any guesses as to where this ship might sail if it remains a domestic cruise?

Such good info and we appreciate it so
much! I’m carefully scanning the stateroom locations to figure this out I’m really looking forward to this cruise. I’m guessing it will have a different vibe then the Caribbean. Thank you again for time and consideration!

We've sailed on Summit twice since she was refurbished - she was lovely before and is even better now! On our last cruise we were in an Aqua class cabin, #1108. Excellent location on the aft starboard side of the ship (I think we were about a dozen cabins from the very back). One deck up to the Rooftop Terrace where they show movies (never heard any noise or foot traffic from up there), one deck down to the pool and buffet - we couldn't have asked for a more convenient location.
This is great info! Thank you!

Thank you! We are looking at a 12 night New England Canadian coastal cruise. Always prefer longer trips as well. The ship is Celebrity Summit. We are new to Celebrity. We’ve only cruised once on Reflection and loved everything.

M class or S class? On S class I believe the verandas on the slant part of the "humps" are best as they have larger balconies than the other veranda cabins. As far as Aqua class, depends on what interests you. We are only interested in the included Blu restaurant. It is much smaller and quieter than the Main Dining Room. Service is faster and very attentive. Blu is open every day for breakfast and dinner. We think up to $400-$500 per person over a veranda cabin price is worth it for Aqua. That is for longer cruises, as we don't take 7 night cruises.

Please advise on the best veranda stateroom location on Celebrity ships and is aqua class worth the upgrade? Thanks!

For us last year in CC, it was still bar soap. We take liquid soap as well, 2 bottles for a 7 night cruise for both of us. In near future, I would recommend 3 bottles for a 7 night cruise. You can leave the remainder or bring it back home.
Thank you! I want to be prepared for the excessive hand washing we will be doing 😃

Can anyone tell me what type of hand soap celebrity reflection puts in their staterooms? We are concierge class. I’m trying to decide how much liquid hand soap to pack. Do not
like hand washing with bar soap. Thanks so much!

Oh my goodness I appreciate the info so much! I’m keeping a look out for prices. We’re doing a nine day southern Caribbean cruise that leaves February 1st so I know hotel prices will be at a premium at this time. I don’t mind paying it for a good hotel but it makes me mad to pay a premium price for a disappointing stay.

Thank you! I had looked at that hotel. It’s nice to know it was a good stay! I appreciate it

Please help! I'm looking for recommendations for hotels in Miami for my husband and I for pre-cruise and post-cruise nights. There's so many to choose from! We are flying in and out of MIA. Definitely want a pool, prefer a on-sight restaurant and a clean room. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello! Can anyone recommend Boston hotels for our New England/Canadian cruise leaving in late August? We've never spent time in Boston so we will have a day and half to do some exploring. Flying into BOS. Many thanks!
