  1. We are sailing on Oasis out of Miami on 4/5.  Just to be on the safe side, we booked a week at a resort in South Florida.  We have until 4/1 to cancel that reservation so we are waiting to make the decision until then.  Our "breaking point" would be if more ships are facing long delays/quarantine.  We really don't want to miss this cruise but being stuck in cabin with 6 year old and 8 year old boys would not be optimal.

  2. I looked through the (very long) RoyalUP thread for a while but I couldn't find anyone else that seems to have had this issue.  I apologize in advance if I missed it.

We placed a competitive bid for a 2BR Grand Suite on our upcoming cruise on Oasis.  My wife mentioned that she really wants the suite so I was going to go in and up the bid a bit to remain completive.  However, when I click on the "Modify/Cancel" button on the confirmation e-mail, it takes me to a page that shows my bid and that its "Pending" but there are no options to modify or cancel the bid.

    Has this happened to anyone?

    Thanks and happy sails...

Ditto for me on the 4/12 Oasis cruise. Also I'm not finding anywere to book either the Laser Tag, Escape room or Ice skating. Are those options that will hopefully pop up at a later date or are they only bookable once aboard?

Some cruises only allow for laser tag to be first come/first served on board.  Escape Room should show up in Cruise Planner for booking but it usually only opens a few weeks prior to sailing.

  4. Thank y'all for the quick responses.  I guess my question wasn't fully fleshed-out.  I'm well aware that the lines will be nuts over spring break.  I am trying to gauge what they are now in a less-than-nuts time.  If they are hours long now, it will be absolutely unbearable then!

  5. Hello Cruisers!

We are currently planning our family cruise for next year.  We are looking at Harmony and Oasis.  Oasis doesn't stop at Coco Cay but rather Labadee (which we enjoyed on our last visit).  My boys (8 and 6) are very excited about Coco Cay but I keep hearing about very long lines for the slides.  Has anyone experienced this?  It's going to be a spring break cruise so the ship will be at capacity.

    Thanks for the insights!

They won't be on their own. They'll be with other kids their age in age appropriate groups.

If you want to guarantee them to all be together, sail disney.

Of course they won't be "alone."  I was just asking if anyone had a similar experience in allowing family members stay together.  Thanks also for your suggestion for Disney Cruises.  However, since our trip is in less than 5 weeks, I really don't see that happening.

  7. We are sailing on Symphony of the Seas on April 13 with our 2 boys (5 and 7).  We are also sailing with my sister-in-law and her family (3 girls; 6, 8, and 10).  The cousins are extremely close and are very exited to take their first cruise together.  I was reading the ages for the various programs at Adventure Ocean and it seems like the kids will be split up.  The groups are 3 - 5, 6 - 8, and 9 - 13.  This is going to drive them nuts because 2 of the kids (the 5 and 10 year olds) will be left on their own.  Does anyone know how hard they keep to age groups?  Is there a chance that they can be in the same group?

  8. Hello everyone!

We had our first cruise last March on Harmony and loved it! We’re booked on Symphony for April.

One of the highlights of our trip (there were many) was the escape room. I see that there is also one on Symphony and it has the same name: “Escape the Rubicon.” Is it the exact same experience? For obvious reasons, we will skip it if it is.

    Thanks!
