Smith's are frequently recommended for journeys to/from Southampton.

But they're based near the Southampton end, about 65 miles from Heathrow and Heathrow to Victoria is way out of their patch - they may decline to quote for this job, they may sub-out, or they may quote an inflated rate to cover their huge empty mileage.

Heathrow to Victoria should be around £35 to £40.

John...Can you recommend a taxi company to prearrange a pickup from Heathrow to hotel near Victoria Station?

We have a 12:30pm flight on Saturday, August 30. We are not concerned about making the flight. My DH likes to self-disembark early and I just wanted to know what a reasonable time would be. I currently have a taxi scheduled for 6:45 but I think I'll change it to 7:15. Thanks for your help JB!

I actually picked the aft cabins over the PH's in the middle of the ship.

I love the aft cabins- looking over into the ocean leaving a port sipping a drink very romantic. We had these cabins before and I like the beam better then the vent. I have also been in a suite in the front of the ship.

Hands down I love aft better. IMO I think you'll love it have fun and enjoy maybe an ultimate balcony dinner also???

After reading this entire thread and looking at pictures I hope I have it straight. We are booked in a PS Suite on the CB cabin C751. If I understand correctly we will have a beam on our deck but it shouldn't be that bad. I probably won't complain because we were upgraded from an AE Mini Suite. If I'm wrong, someone please let me know. I think I rather have a beam than a vent blowing. :)

My friend and I were on a NCL ship in 1996 (I think I'm correct with the year) and I cannot think of the name of it to save my life! The ship is no longer in their fleet. We sailed from Miami to Cozmel, Key West and their private island. Can someone please tell me the name of the ship I was on. :confused: :confused: :confused:
