Hopefully it’ll be Gary Golding.....he was on the Star a few weeks ago. He was our cruise director on our Panama cruise last year.....he’s an absolute hoot. So keeping our fingers crossed.

I’ve always asked for a glass of wine and I’ve always been given one. Ask and you may receive 😉

The Captains welcome cocktail party is no longer what it used to be it is now sometimes amalgamated with the champagne waterfall and only champagne and mimosas are offered or if the waterfall is saved for the goodbye 'party' there will be very well watered down coloured 'cocktails' or fruit juice or sometimes a pink champagne mix (with cranberry juice) No longer is there a choice of red or white wine offered. After sitting on our deck on Vancouver Island and watching the ships pass on their way to Alaska we thought it about time we did the trip. So last September we sailed on the Island Princess...we had a fabulous time..food, entertainment, suite were all top notch. So we’ve booked the Island Princess for the 22 day Panama cruise out of Vancouver, September 19th....so looking forward to it.:)
