thanks for the info
I guess I will have to way the savings vs added travel time and frustrations. We will be coming from the Albany NY area and using I 87
The price difference is about $100 between the H garden inn and the Country Inn (or any other Decent Hotel with Park & Cruise) In Elizabeth

:DI have a Sleep, Park & Cruise reservation (which includes Port transportation) at The Hilton Garden Inn on Staten Island in October. I read on another thread that Staten Island is not a good place to stay at this time due to Bridge closings and road construction. I see alternate routes from Staten Island to the Port so I am wondering why it would or could be a problem.
Any thoughts

Does anyone have a currant Bar Menu with drink prices. Something from April or May of 2014.
I really wouldn't trust a list posted by someone calling themselves Celebrity Cruises, Hey, that could have been me who knows:rolleyes:

Try the Best Western Adams Inn located in Quincy, we have stayed there in the past.
Not a high end hotel but it is located on a tidal river with decent rooms.
They had a free airport and cruise port shuttle when we stayed there, that was about 5 years ago.
The price was not too bad, as I recall, and we would stay there again if we Flew or Cruised out of Boston

I copied and pasted this from the Hotel Website, we are staying there in February.
"Transportation is available each day to Seaport in Tampa."
:oI took that to mean they have a shuttle leaving from the Hotel to the Port for a fee. If not it's no big deal to get a cab and as stated the cost is about $25 -
We Stayed here in October of this year, there is now an Italian Restaurant right next to the Hotel, and just past that is the Outback Steakhouse.:)

:)Thanks for the info, that is just what I was looking for, the price for early February was great so I was a Little concerned about the, area even though the review are mostly good.

 How long do people think a bar server, or other waitstaff, will keep their Job if they do not give great service regardless if you have a beverage package or have pre paid gratuities??
Not long I would think!:D

I have used them several times with no issues. Your credit card will be billed at the time you book the room but is refundable up to a specific date, normally few days prior to arrival. That Info will be shown when you book, I have cancelled in the past and had no problems getting credit. They often have great prices, but not on all Hotels.
