Thank you Gonzo, I know that. But 'other' cruise lines have a courtesy desk at FLL where you receive your sign and sail card right there. This enables you to bypass the lines at the cruise terminal.

I'm wondering if Celebrity has facilites at Ft. Laud. airport where you can check in for your cruise as soon as you arrive off your flight?

I think I remember seeing Carnival Cruise Line offering this. Thank you.

good morning Castro! It sounds as if your beach is a good spot for us. We will be in St.Lucia on Feb. 12, a Sunday. Can you clarify that there are no pushy vendors strolling the beach? Nothing annoys me more when I'm trying to relax. What color are YOUR chairs so I know I'm going to the right guy?

I was able to successfully book Luggage Direct for Feb. 19 on NA, flying out of FLL>

My travel mate and I first cruised on the Westerdam. A year or so later, we were doing the Panama Canal on the Zuiderdam. Michael, a poolside server came over and asked if we were on the Westy last year. We replied, yes. He remembered us....and I think it was because we tipped $1 for every drink. lol On a side note...the Zuiderdam won the contest that year for selling the most alcohol. I'd like to think we contributed to that effort. lol

I just got off the phone with HAL...sadly, it's true.

We filled out many 'let us know' cards while aboard. One of the servers we praised got a day off because of it.

If it's available, I HIGHLY recommend 5190 aft wrap Neptune on the Zuiderdam. Totally covered and a HUGE balcony. We loved it.

I ordered a bottle of Beefeater from room service....they did not have that brand on the 'regular' list but I had not trouble getting it delivered.

the grat is included in the Ex4.

We have a Caribbean cruise booked for Feb. 2017. In the description of the itinerary it says 'cruising the Pitons'. Hoping this means the same as the OP posted.

On the Zuiderdam, our Neptune had a round table. We brought a 70 inch round tablecloth. It was perfect. I also brought some battery operated LED candles.

I recently made a flight at 9:45 AM. But I will admit I was tense, even though everything went perfectly.

We had a standing order for 4 pm each day. But had no idea there was a menu we could choose from. The canapes got quite boring after a few days...with few changes in the offerings.

Just returned from our first aft Nep. suite cruise on the Zuiderdam. I'd love to hear your opinions on which aft Nep. suites are the most favored on NA...we were in 5190 on the Zui. (totally covered) which we loved. And would like to book similar on the NA.

You don't even need to see anyone to get another pass, just go to an automated kiosk, enter your confirmation number, print your new pass. No standing in line. No wait. No hassle.

I just checked the promotion and it seems as if the only Caribbean cruises listed are for 2016? I've booked a Western Caribbean cruise on the Oosterdam for Feb 2017 and it's not listed... :(

I found the same as you Jinty.....only up until the end of 2016. Wondering how others found the deal for 2017 cruises?

I very much appreciate your post about Luggage Direct. I plan on using it next month out of FLL. But I will now go to outside check-in at SW and get a 'real' boarding pass. As far as my luggage not being on the same plane...I'm like Ruth C. I'd love to have it delivered to my house! (not making light of your unhappiness with the situation)
