My ex brother in law owes an outrageous amount in back child support. My sister was told that his passport is tagged. He can leave the country but will be arrested upon return.

We have done it several times. We always disembark the first cruise as late as possible and then cab it to the second...even close is not that close . It is usually a $5 cab ride with tip and worth every penny.

I have been on three Princess Cruises this year, offered three upsells and accepted all three. One was mini suite to suite, one inside to balcony, and one inside to premium. Balcony. My DS2 was offered a move over this year from balcony to inside and accepted it. We book directly with a Princess if that makes a difference.

On our January 2018 cruise on the Regal by son accepted a downgrade from a balcony to an inside . He received a free cruise and all of the amount he had paid as refundable OBC. He had his wife had a wonderful time! On the same cruise my DH and I were offered an upselll from a Mini suite to an aft wrap around full suite for a total of $458 .it was wonderful and really made our cruise special. Both of us btw booked directly through a Princess. On the other hand my oldest son was also on this cruise. He booked a mini suite through a big box agency and was not offered any deals. Who knows!

We had the crab shack on our recent Alaska cruise 9/9-9/16. The food was ok but the service was poor. We had to remind the server that we needed bibs, we were not offered drinks, our places were cleared before we finished our meal.The Salmon pate was good, main dish was fine, the Alaskan soup was awful..tasted chalky, and we were never offered bread or butter. Deserts came from Horizon Court. Once was enough.

We got an ez air from Chicago to Lax for $48 each way .This is for January 2019 cruise to Hawaii. Just got back last week

from an Alaska cruise E Z air was $253 round trip total for two people Chicago to SeaTac. You never know if it is going to be a bargain or not.

I have an Alaska cruise in September and an Hawaii cruise scheduled for January. I used FCC to book the Hawaii cruise. Can I buy more on the Alaska one for Hawaii?

Both on the same sailing Regal January 18 upsell from guaranteed mini sweet to aft suite with wrap around balcony for $458 . My DS and DIl on the same cruise , downgrade from guaranteed balcony to inside for free with everything paid as refundable OBC

I was on the Regal in Nov., 2017 in D726. Fantastic suite with a balcony that was enormous and very private! Quiet and so nice that we spent lots of time relaxing and eating on the balcony. I would book this cabin again in a heartbeat.

 

Our steward said that our beds were the new ones and they were FAR more comfortable than any other Princess beds we've slept in. They seemed shorter, though.

We were in that cabin in January! Spoiled now. We hosted a cocktail party on the balcony with plenty of room and food service went out of their way to suggest nibbles and set up the party. Will book that cabin again in a minute

You can always call Walgreens , pay for it ahead of time and ask them to hold it til you get off your cruise

I have not had the opportunity to sail on either the regal princess or the royal princess. Next year I do have three cruises booked for the royal princess when she arrives in SoCal. I will be on the Star Princess this Saturday so like you I will be comparing ships.

 

What ship did you book for your Alaska cruise?

We booked Emerald for Alaska in September and booked her again in January for Hawaii. We had las been on the Emerald for a transatlantic back in 2014 and found it enjoyable.

In January we were on the Regal Princess for one week in the Caribbean and the next week on the Eurodam. Although we are 3 star on HAL, we have not sailed on a HAL ship since 2014. I was so looking forward to the Eurodam and was sorely disappointed. The ship felt tired and run down. I hated the decor and felt that furniture in both the public areas and cabins were overdue for replacement. We were frankly bored. The best parts was the dive in and the spa. Food was bland and the only decent meal I had was the repeat luncheon where you pick up your tiles. Unless something remarkable happens we will not be booking HAL again. In fact when we returned we booked an upcoming cruise to Alaska.

We were in a PH suite (D726) on the Regal in November, 2017 and we didn't get any balcony breakfast. Is this listed as a suite perk? I usually sail in full suites but never had this or heard of anyone getting it.

We were in Tge same suite in January 2918 and did get the balcony breakfast!

After many HAL cruises, took one on Princess. Will NEVER set foot on one of their ships again!!

No neither will I. I hadn’t cruised on HAL since 2012; but in January spent one week on Princess and one week on HAL. The only redeeming feature is the spa. I found their food lacking, the decor shopworn and tacky, limited entertainment and limited food selection.

I know you are thinking of forward but we absolutely loved (he wrap around balcony in the aft section. In January we were in D726 on the Regal and had oodles of room to entertain .

When we book a balcony cabin, I prefer Caribe deck for the larger balcony.When we book mini suites I prefer club class cause it’s staight down to the action and when we book suites the aft with a suite with a wrap around balcony

Just got off the Eurodam yesterday and we received a very attractive voyage log with gold printing. Because we do not save such memorabilia, I just tossed it.i know for some people the logs are cherished, but my guess is others just toss it.

We just got an upsell and a move over for our Jan 7th Regal cruise. For $459 an upgrade from a mini to a full wrap around suite.This came two days after final payment.My son who had booked a balcony for the same trip got an email today offering swapping his balcony for an inside cabin, free of charge and $1400 Obc.we both grabbed them.

We will be in D 726 -Regal in January. With the huge wrap around balcony,I hope there are few soot problems. Anybody know?

LOL. I will have to see!! As a vegetarian I can appreciate vege burgers better then a non vegetarian. But somethings are just awful. Will be prepared. Thanks!!!!!

Well I am a vegetarian and the veggie burgers are the worse thing I have ever attempted to eat.

Did your son who booked thru big box call princess or big box?

He called the big box ... I asked princess and they said he needed to talk with them directly

A follow up my kids who are booked in a balcony got $50 per person and had to wait on customer service for some time.i got $100 per person and am booked in a full suite.it took two calls to make it happen. My other vson who is bored led in a min suite and transferred his booking to a big box got $50 for the cabin. Who knows?

Me too! I just called and got $100.00 obc in my cabin. My d-I-l just called and is on the phone right now with a Princess. My oldest son who had booked thru a big box ta is calling them now. We are all looking forward to our cruise on Jan 7th
